I only saw part of your huge sprawling metropolis, but didn't like it if being perfectly honest Groucho.

It's NOT an average city, it's dirty, slightly depressing, and somewhat unfriendly.

I'm still glad I went though, and it was a pleasure to meet Pete 1201 in the Galleria
You may not like it, although i think it's quite strange, but de gustibus non disputandum est. But if you (not you, a general you) don't know what is Napoli, you'd better not talk. It would be the same if i'd say that because of some drunk citizen who made some troubles near Sorrento the night before the match, all citizen spend the whole days drinking, are noisy and Manchester should not be allowed to have an home game.

All big clubs have an element of scum following them, yes, even city. The big difference is that the Napoli scum carry knives.
Really enjoyed Sorrento, pizzas, did Pompeii and had a police escort thrown in for good measure.
Well done Spike, well organised trip. Felt safe. The Italian Police were also very good. Just the football that spoilt it!

While waiting for the last flight back tonight all city fans were surprised to find mario queuing up for a coke! Lots of mario chants before he was bundled off to his private jet by minders. He's a good lad!

I don't personally like that people on here are trying to make out that all of Naples, or even all Napoli fans are scum, its just wrong. The vast majority of both are perfectly reasonable people, just like here, and scum exists everywhere whether it be naples or northenden, they may have more than we do (though I'm sure they'd argue otherwise after our recent riots).

I've been in Naples twice, once I found it very enjoyable and interesting, and once I felt quite intimidated, one was on holiday, and one was with work, the work experience was the worst, and largely my own fault because of where I ended up.

I didn't go yesterday, but most of those that I know that did, haven't reported any hassle at all, though most have complimented the police.

haha napoli fans trying to defend stabbings and other violence.

just spoke to a mate of mine who's cousin got slashed and robbed.

it's disgusting, and napoli should be kicked out until it's resolved. what kind of world do we live in when you cannot visit a city to watch football without being scared of being stabbed?

napoli deserve it on the pitch but something needs to be done about these cowards off the pitch. and to think we had welcome signs for them.

Wow. Us not play a home game? Are you having a fooking giggle lad. So you boast about how loud it was at San Paulo last night, but we're not allowed to sing in a bar/pub or on the street?

Pathetic, stick to your knfe wielding 'hardness' you bunch of fairies, we all know when it comes down to you it you bow and surrender.

Dear friends, i'm a napoli supporter and i have to say that i don't like your comments about Naples.
We are good people, but Napoli is a big city, and as happens in every big cities there is a lot of scum, anyway i hope that everybody come back as arrived.
But please realize also that while reading your comments about the incivility of my city i may remember what happened in england this summer and i may have an ironic smile.

I had no trouble whatsoever until c. 20.45 (Neapolitan time) tonight on the flight back to Stanstead when a drunk, repulsive, sweaty, 'Blue' from Kent, sat down next to me, opened a bottle of whiskey and proceeded to make the next hour of the flight a living hell for me, my mate sat next to me, several small children, a host of other passengers and the Easyjet flight attendants.

I dearly, dearly hope, if you're reading this, that you enjoyed your night in the airport nick, because it was thoroughly, thoroughly deserved. You fucking waste of cells.

Just back . Town full of cowards . My friends were attacked near the ground. & we were attacked walking back to our hotel . Then told to leave a bar for our own safety . FORZA CITY not read all the thread but Napoli is not a place I will be rushing back to. Scousers stabbed munich stabbed - if it was an English club ? .
