Doesn't sound like anyone I've seen or heard on the London trains. I'll ask around, though. Sounds like he could do with a wake up call.

In between glugging whiskey, frightening small children and belching obscenities at people he mentioned that he lived in Kent, and worked for a train company.

Think more Shaun Ryder in the video for 'Step On'. Exactly the same hair. Then stick a massive paunch on him and imagine the unbearable stench of sweat and whiskey. If I see him at Arsenal I'll get a pic of him. And then empty the contents of the ketchup dispenser over his sweaty head.

Apparently some of the lads he'd been tagging along with almost did give him a slap. He began by belting from his bottle of whiskey and yelling obscenities, but it was when he bellowed '****' for the tenth time, started pulling some poor Italian girl's hair and then yelling aggressively at a small child that I told him to shut it. Stewardess turned up, who he was pretty nasty to, then removed the whiskey and took him to the back of the plane and called the police.

If anyone knows who he is, I'd like to know, because I'll be reporting him to the club. Don't want him near any aways in the future. He was wearing a t-shirt with a cartoon of the Law Backheel in '74 and the legend, 'Dennis has done it'. Shoulder length blonde hair, fat bastard. From Kent apparently. Sounded like he was trying to put on a Mancunian accent.

At least you weren't sat on the very back of the flight having to put up with his shite for the duration! It made the flight back more interesting though! Hayley the stewardess has got a fan club!

Yeah, sorry about that mate! God he was a twat. I knew from the second he sat down that something was going to go awry. What was he up to when he got to the back? Just talking nonsense?

He demanded to take my and my mate's name and a picture of us both, for some reason. Fair play to the flight attendants, they had the patience of saints - though they told me incidents like that were quite common.

Can't remember everything. He was from Gillingham. Kept on going about how he was a train driver for Virgin or something and how he made 35k for just pressing two buttons! He kept on asking Hayley the stewardess to marry her. I wasn't really listening to him, but I'm sure one or two of my mates could expand if and when they see this thread.

Dear friends, i'm a napoli supporter and i have to say that i don't like your comments about Naples.
We are good people, but Napoli is a big city, and as happens in every big cities there is a lot of scum, anyway i hope that everybody come back as arrived.
But please realize also that while reading your comments about the incivility of my city i may remember what happened in england this summer and i may have an ironic smile.

And that had exactly WHAT to do with Manchester City Football Club?

going to hospital now to see how the blue who had his head smashed in over in napoli.is getting on. still not well
will let you know when i get back

Onelife is this the lad who got the iron bar over his head in sorrento.
Hope he gets well soon
we got back on wednesday on the rome flight where at the airport a lad was showing his slash wound to his side.
There was no doubt the risk of violence everywhere, We stayed round the castle area before moving to the port and we were treated well .The escort to and from the ground even though it took over an hour meant we saw no trouble and when we got back into a bar at the port, police parked a car outside to keep an eye on us . Atmosphere at the ground was worth seeing but i will not be going back to naples in a hurry,
Let us all know how the lad is getting on.

The lads sat opposite said that they knew him from a few years ago, he'd been kicked out of their supporters club (London branch) and that they wanted nothing to do with him, but couldn't get rid of him in Naples.

That any help?

I've never heard the full stories but I do understand that some people have been kicked out of branches for causing trouble or not paying their way. This one sounds like a right wanker.

Its a good job their parents/grandparents werent that HARD during the war or we would be talking german now... Fckin cowardly b.......ds

My impression of Naples -

A beutiful city with some stunning architecture struggling to emerge from a dog-shit & grafitti strewn shroud.

A total contrast from the near war zone of Piazza Garibaldi, to the run down but honest charm of the Spanish Quarter to the affluence of the Piazza Triest e Trento & the Galleria Umberto.

A city who's entire DNA changes when the sun goes down. Normal Neopolitans replaced by rat boys lurking in alleys.

Everyone we met in Naples was charming & welcoming. The bar & cafe owners all willing to show off their limited English were excellent hosts. Restaurant owners proud of their local cuisine. Even the fans we spoke to, whilst passionate about their team, wanted to discuss tactics.

All, however, we concerned about our safety.

However, I think they would have been worried about our safety even if we were normal tourists. The place is awash with lowlife who just appear out of nowhere.
Whilst not being overtly threatening or aggresive, the longer the evening goes on & turns into night, the stronger the undercurrent of potential trouble gets.

Whilst enjoying a beer with a bunch of Napoli fans on Monday night, they all of a sudden told me that I ought to go back to my hotel as it was starting to become unsafe!
I didn't need to be told twice, and started back to my hotel.

A real shame as it could be a really beautiful place. The place needs millions spending on it to renovate the buildings, clean the graffitti & pick up the dog-shit.

I wont be going back.
