Evidence for religion

Please stop quoting mumbo jumbo to try to justify your ludicrous beliefs.
Your book of magic is no less ridiculous than any other religion's book of magic.

Scriptures are the basis of belief. Here is a 'mumbo jumbo' confirming the revelations given to Moses(as) and Jesus(as). So Qur'an is no different when it comes to magic stuff.
[Q 5:46] And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous.

It's not 'probably' a reference to the big bang at all, you've simply heard of the big bang and then tried to fix something in the book to prove that they were aware of the big bang. And as it turns out, looks like the theory of a single big bang is now obsolete anyway, so you should go away, catch up with science, and then find another passage that probably mirrors the current way of thinking.

I'm not trying to prove people of the 7th century were aware of the Big Bang. They most likely were not and couldn't have understood what the verse meant with the knowledge available to them. But, it's interesting that God takes ownership of the process of separation (whether by single or multiple bangs) and aquatic origins of life.

Religion deals with the unseen and things we don't understand fully until we do understand them, at which point religion frequently denies them and stands in the way of progress and education. How many people to this day refuse to believe in the obvious fact of evolution because it contradicts an ancient book? Or how many people are protesting against homosexuality being acknowledged in schools on the basis of a pre-medieval misunderstanding of what it is?

But, I don't see anything in the scriptures against acquiring knowledge. In fact, the scriptures encourage the believers to look for the signs in the universe and know the Creator.

Homosexual act is considered as 'transgression' and a sin as mentioned by Prophet Lot(as).
[Q 7:81] Indeed, you approach men with desire, instead of women. Rather, you are a transgressing people.

Having the impulse itself isn't wrong per Shariah, and it's nobody's business to check what is happening in the private lives of others. They should be acknowledged and considered part of society just like every other sinner (all of us are) is, but to promote something like 'gay marriages' goes against the tenets of all Abrahamic faiths.

When you say “promote it”, are you meaning buy one get one free/half price Easter weekend deals? Or do you mean legalising same sex marriage between consenting adults that love each other?

No, He is omnipotent.
[Q 46:33] ....Yes. Indeed, He is over all things competent.

Yes, but He'll recompense them in the AfterLife
[Q 3:195] And their Lord responded to them, "Never will I allow to be lost the work of [any] worker among you, whether male or female; you are of one another. So those who emigrated or were evicted from their homes or were harmed in My cause or fought or were killed - I will surely remove from them their misdeeds, and I will surely admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow as reward from Allah, and Allah has with Him the best reward."

[Q 2:216]…But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not.

Evil comes from His creation.
[Q 113:1-2] Say, ‘I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak, from the evil of that which He created

Of course you know which of the 2 questions I'm referring to.

Religion is merely patriarchal control of the masses for the benefit of those in power.

It is simply a panacea for the weak-minded and feeble brained, who need assurance they are immortal.

In short, it’s bollocks!
