Wayne Bridge was a huge disappointment. Second best left back in the country behind Ashley Cole at the time and I thought he'd be a terrific signing for us .... but he wasn't and he took us for 80k a week for the privilege!

The drop off was crazy after watching the YouTube vids of him.

Yeah, he even paid part of the fee to get himself here. I was thinking we’ve got a gem here who’s motivated too.

Played about half an hour and buggered off!

He raised our profile when he signed, our marquee signing massively under achieved, one or two decent moments but that was it.

I didn't expected him to be good enough to lift a whole team. What he did was enough for me to be more than happy with hum.
