The Ireland team definitely wont be qualifying for this.Even with 32,our current Ireland team seem way off the mark for qualification. Think we need fresh blood in Management. Were too flat, only show the odd burst of talent. Fall shy.

Im with you, hoping I am able to do it.I can’t be the only one that is up for this? It’s certainly better than the current format and I believe the prize money is fairly big. Would love to travel the states watching City.

At least they have an idea on actually organising shit, which seems beyond most of the recent UEFA major events.

A little look at how teams qualify ….
Europe will have the most participation in the 2025 competition. They have been given 12 spots. Of these 12 spots, three have been already occupied. The UEFA Champions League winners from 2021-24 are set to have a direct entry into the competition.
Chelsea were the first team from Europe which qualified for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. The Blues were followed by Real Madrid and this season’s champion, Manchester City. As for the remaining teams, there will be a rank-based system for the four-year period.
South America will have six club representatives. Copa Libertadores winners from the 2021-24 season will get a direct entry into the competition.
The CONCACAF will have four representatives in the Club World Cup.
The CONCACAF Champions League winners from 2021-24 will get a direct entry.
AFC and CAF also have four spots each in the competition. These four teams will be the Champions League winners in Asia and Africa from 2021-24.
Oceania will only have one team in the competition. The highest-ranked club from their Champions League winners between 2021 and 2024.

With this and the Champions League being expanded, how are they going to fit all the games into an already overcrowded calendar? This is just FIFA and UEFA creating fixture congestion just to line their pockets.
