Sounds like nonsense to me.
Possibly bollocks but I would be very tempted to take the swap deal if I was Mancini. Lavezzi is a 20m+ player who has the heart, workrate, and speed to make a big impact here. However, we know Mancini loves Balotelli and we all know what Balotelli could be but Mancini is under a lot of pressure and needs a committed team this season.

I can't see City losing Balotelli and Tevez in this window so I think this is a "Mirror" type story !!
However I do agree that if City could make it happen it would be a good move in the long term. I agree with another poster that Mancini sticking with Balotelli could cost him his job at the end of the season. Balotelli is similar to Adebayor, he has the talent to succeed but for one reason or another he will probably never fulfill his potential. It's all to do with what's in his head, (or what's missing. If only we could have signed Lukaku instead !
