F1 2024 season

Red Bull are so dislikable from top to bottom. Headed up by Helmut Marko who is a massive racist.

That's the title done, I'm no fan of Verstappen and his dirty bullshit but Norris and McLaren just aren't worthy of the title this season, not ready yet.

Three drivers on the podium who seemed to be the only ones able to drive today.
Verstappen getting through the field without problem and then getting lucky with the red flag.

Norris got done by LeClerc at the restart and had to go straight on or hit someone.

Hulkenberg putting in a bid for most obvious DQ was amusing.

Fantastic race from Verstappen. And that call from RB not to change tires yet turned out lucky yet brilliant. This is Verstappen at his very best. He doesn’t need debatable overtakings or being ubrutal when battling. Well deserved victory, no one can say otherwise.

Great to see Ocon and Gasly completing the top3. Well done BWT.

I read Norris has said that Max would probably have passed them both but both him and George should have been on the podium.

Max was so much faster than everyone else it’s hard to argue.

I am not a fan but Max thoroughly deserved that win.

That was the biggest bottle job performance from Norris I’ve seen in years.

Sadly the latest in a line of them this season, he’s just not ready.

Next season will be telling. Will he kick on and go for it or be crushed by the experience, at the moment I’d say it’s 50/50.

Plus, McLaren may end up being off the pace, hard to say right now though.

Anyone else see Hamilton got to drive Senna's McLaren round Interlagos?

I know technology advances and safety improvements lead to the cars we have today, but those F1 cars from that era are just beautiful.

I’m not sure about that, he was held up at the back of the queue, would have been tough to get past all of them and Russell and Norris had pace when they were clear at the front.

Lando's had plenty of chances to improve this season. There has been a lot of talk from him about learning from mistakes both individually and as a team and he's even stated he's not been as good as Max. I don't rate his chances as good as 50/50 personally.

With the superior car he's had for a lot of the season he's not converted it into wins. He's often overtaken from pole on the first lap and the team has also made some poor strategy choices.

He should have been in the lead of that race and holding track position but instead was overtaken at the first corner, again. I also felt McLaren should have been telling Piastri to cover the inside on the first corner when Max came at him, he'd already made that move a couple of times and it was far too easy. You need your team mate to do their best to help your cause. Leclerc was much wiser to it a few laps later.
