Normal service has been resumed. Verstappen 6 seconds ahead after less than a third of the race.

Wonder if McLaren have got anything up their sleeve, they didn’t even try and fight it

Not exactly box office so far this is it.

Shame really. There'd been a few fleeting glimpses of hope that the gap was closing to Verstappen. This weekend has snuffed those out.

I know how everyone who isn't a city fan feels about our dominance having to sit through this. Poor race this, really needs either rain or a safety car to spice it up. Oh yeah and rain would drench those orange wearing weirdo's.

It’s nowhere near to the same extent but it’s increasingly looking like Piastri could be Norris’s Perez.

Miles behind his teammate isn’t quick enough to keep up and help the main driver out when needed.

I know he’s a young driver but now McLaren have a seriously rapid car he needs to start getting closer to Norris if he wants to keep his seat in the medium term for me.
