F1 2026

Feel Russel will be playing second fiddle to Antonelli like the rest this new f1 cars seems to suit him great! If the cars stay similar all season he will win it
 
There's a non zero chance Antonelli might be doing to George what Lewis did to Alonso.

That kid is the real deal.

Also Verstappen...LOL. That car drives like double decker bus.

Battery issues again for Lando, the technical problems and lack of running during FP killed his qualifying.
 
So; Antonelli strolls (nearly 14 seconds ahead of Piastri) to another win. Everything in the garden is rosy for him right now, even if it is very early in the season. Two wins and a second in three races. Not sure how thrilled his team mate will be, mind. I'm assuming that Mercedes would have entered the season with Russell as the number 1 driver? Now, he's being upstaged by a lad who's barely started shaving.
 
Watched the last 20 laps and Antonelli cruised it! You can see when you have the best car how good a driver you are and this kid looks special he will walk it! Well it looks like it now! But 5 weeks till the next race, we will see if there any improvements for the other cars and if those drivers learn to tweak how they drive with the new set up! Russel though playing second fiddle to a kid! Bet after the first race he though he had a good chance of winning F1!

They'll be replaying the race podcast predictions when one of them said Antonelli will be champion this year. His mates took the piss and he tracked backed saying he only said it because Russell will piss it...
 
Would like to see a bit more on that Bearman accident.

Looked a lot like he was travelling a truck ton faster than Colapinto and the slightest twitch sent him off the track and into the barriers. If it’s to do with battery deployment, then that really does need looking into.

He was going 57mph faster than Colapinto.

Really bad look for the new regulations, a 50G crash because he had to take emergency evasive action.
 
Aston Martin and Williams fucking around and making a mockery of the race again.

If your car is a heap is shit then deal with it, they shouldn't be allowed to just bin the race off completely and treat it like a pre season testing session. Absolutely ridiculous.

Also how much of an irritating bell end is Jack Black. The guy is about 60 and bouncing around like toddler with ADHD.

Not sure how it's going to shake out but I said yesterday we could be looking at a similar scenario to Hamilton coming into McLaren or Verstappen at Red Bull, Russell could end up seeing his arse the way Alonso and Ricciardo did.

Fascinating season either way.

What a mardy ****. Doesn’t he know this is how F1 has always been? It goes in cycles and right now it’s just not Red Bull’s turn to dominate. He’s had a great run.

I think he’s already a very good driver and will only get better…..but this season will be worth watching just for the verstappen meltdowns…

Would have been interesting if Hamilton stayed with Mercedes who’d be winning these races between him and Antonelli. I’m thinking is would of been very close points wise to the last race..

His biggest fan will be along to piss his knickers even more.

I personally think he's trying to wangle a way out of Red Bull and possibly F1 because he's not winning anymore.
 
I hope Antonelli goes on to win the title.
Let’s see how chummy Russell is when he’s asked to let Antonelli through…
