Crowd cheering for Russell made qualifying for me
He showing his team mate up, the kid looks the real deal if he can get that performance out of that car.

Are F1 losing the plot or is everyone else? Ross Braun on the radio yesterday saying that F1 was going down the hydrogen route when nearly all vehicle companies are going electric. A lot of F1 innovations are later used in modern car production. How many car companies will continue to invest in F1 if there is no follow through to general car investment? Or will all cars go hydrogen? Indeed is there more hydrogen research going on than we realise?
Hydrogen is far more environmental sound than electric. As F1 technology tends to bleed into mainstream vehicles its good news I think. Are F1 losing the plot or is everyone else? But who is researching hydrogen engines as a going concern for motor vehicles? As you say F1 tends to bleed into mainstream vehicles but, as far as I am aware, there aren't any.Hydrogen is far more environmental sound than electric. Toyota for starters. But who is researching hydrogen engines as a going concern for motor vehicles? As you say F1 tends to bleed into mainstream vehicles but, as far as I am aware, there aren't any.
People keep quoting this but it is not difficult to overcome. Every house has main water, electricity and often gas which all come down the street to your house. It shouldn't be to difficult to tap into the mains and plant a charging post which can be activated by your own house account card/phone etc.I think Formula E have an agreement with the FIA that they are the main electric only racing series until something like 2035 so I don't think F1 could go full electric even if it wanted to.
I hope they look into Hydrogen more. I mean how are electric cars going to work in a place like this?
I heard them (?) say on SkyF1 that F1 are concentrating on renewable bio fuels. I have no idea if that involves hydrogen but I like the idea of having clean ICE's.But who is researching hydrogen engines as a going concern for motor vehicles?
