FA cup 4th Round draw Middlesbrough at home

If we get 5,400 tickets we will fill them quite a few times this season we have filled our allocation away from home and this being such a big tie we will sell out them tickets easily.

Anyone who was at the maine road quarter final against boro a few years ago will know all about the history between the fans*,not in a good way either. Should go through,a good draw.

Hooligans*

Could not give a fuck about that... Just interested in the football.

If they are still the same then want to give a fuck as they don't give a fuck who they have a go at and we are talking about the majority here.

I will take that draw. Could have been better but could have been a whole lot worse. Play the big guns and look to get it won early and take them off.

A club who I hated in the bad old days if you have never been to a game against them then don't think of Sunderland at Wembley but more of the Rags at Wembley picking on family's and lone fans.

They will bring a few and I remember the game they came into the old North stand dressed in suits as they fooled the police they were on the way to a wedding.

Dressed in suits?

In suits with brolly in hand giving whoever was in the way a twatting.

Also went to ayresome park and was stopped by the police from walking round the ground for my own safety as their was hundreds trying to get through a police line to get at the city fans.

That was in the 90s when Dissa Pointin gave us the lead but we got beat 2 - 1

I went to the one where Peter Reid scored and we lost 2-1 - in the fa cup. Are you sure it was pointon.?

We've been rumbled ;-)

I went to boro a few years ago when we got beat 2-0 and it was as normal as it is at every game nowadays. I haven't seen trouble (other than between city fans) at more than 2/3 games in the last 10 years. One was rags at Wembley, one was Chelsea at Wembley and other than that it got a bit heated when they let Chelsea fans out at same time as city last year in FA cup. Maybe I leave too early :-)

There was some tit-for-tat aggro between the teams in the 90s, but I think those days are gone now. Let's not paint Boro to be some set of Bully boys because from what I saw it went both ways back then.

So you'll be looking for it... 80/90s are that a way >>>
