FA Cup 5th Round Draw (against Chelsea Home)

Cup games always get me. You can look at league games on the fixture list but cup games arent on until you reach that stage. Cup semi derby and the final last year I had to do a runner from holidays.

Chelsea just waiting for the date.

Fairly sure the 8 games are over two days this season Moomba as opposed to the three days of rounds 3 and 4.

Ours will be televised world wide for sure ie meaning ESPN will cover it for America and Australia and Asia to mention just three regiosns for sure which reduces it to four time slots but because we play against Barca on the 18th it would have to be on Saturday the 15th Feb.

My guess is it will be a 4.30pm lick off.

5.15pm Sat confirmed on ITV twitter

"Two of England's top three teams will face off against each other in the FA Cup fifth round live on ITV, when Chelsea travel to Manchester City in mid-February.

Manchester City struggled past Championship side Watford, eventually winning 4-2 at the Etihad in the fourth round.

It was a much simpler task for Chelsea, where a single Oscar strike was enough to see them through against a lamentable Stoke.

The game will be shown live on ITV on Saturday 15th February, kicking off at 5.15pm."

Now just need the cost.

Oh well I was off by 45 minutes ,

I actually meant a 5.30 kick off originally as it was last year allowing for transition for the 3.00pm kick offs but of course not having any Saturday 3.00pm kick offs broadcast live this year 5.15 was the obvious time slot.

I suppose its the best we could hope for, its the saturday which is the main thing gives them a few days rest before Barca and then back on ITV later on in the week...

Love the much simpler part.

Doesn't care too much for City or Leslie by the sounds of it.

So when do Arsenal - Liverpool play? Wenger has already indicated a tantrum if it's Sunday (even though they play Wednesday not Tuesday).
