FA Cup 5th round draw - Huddersfield Town (Away)

Chill ffs

If we score in the last minute agin the rags i INSIST that Pep & all the coaching staff + Bernard go crowd surfing........I'm 65 and I know I will be.

Stop being so fcuking precious

I insist that they jump into the United end and windmill the fuckers! Don't tell Marvin though - he'll get all upset while we're all celebrating ;)

No he doesn't. he runs down the touchline to celebrate a goal. He famously did that at Old Trafford when he was at Porto. This was on the field of play. I've veen watching football for 40 years and never seen that.

Whether you accept it or not, there is no difference in what Mourinho, and other managers have done in the past and what Wagner did. Yeah, maybe it is disrespectful but who cares in the moment - you've just beaten your rivals in the last minute.

When United beat us 4-3 in the last minute, Gary Neville ran to our fans and celebrated in front of us. I didn't see anyone try to start a fight, we were angry but we had to suck it up.

The problem yesterday was Monk - who claims to have been brought up with class and humility but lacks either, and is clearly the aggressor in the situation and is actually the cause of the 'riot'. Look at the footage he walks well outside of his technical area himself. I didn't see any Leeds players take issue with Wagner until Monk stuck his beak in.

We clearly have a fundamental difference in opinion so I don't see the point in continuing the conversation.

Wagner has already said it's the norm in Germany and considering the stakes and it being last minute it's fairly understandable that he did it, probably learned his lesson and won't repeat it but for me it was great to see, pure unadulterated joy. Monk was a dick for the way he behaved but again it's understandable in the heat of the moment.

Was it the last minute? 89th minute (not eg 90+2) in the reports I've read which suggests another 4 or 5 mins to play. In those circumstances dont you want the manager to be calming down the celebrations, concentrating on seeing out the next few minutes?

Apologies, I just meant last minute as a figure of speech. You're right though, of course you want the opposite to what actually happened but the game has become sanitised enough as it is, if these sort of reactions didn't occur it would detract further, managers kicking off with each other is also wrong but it happens and becomes a topic of discussion, long may spontaneity rule the day.

Rules are for fools.

Another win for Huddersfield today vs Leeds, but their manager must be seriously embarrassed by his conduct today. Never seen anything like it celebrating on the pitch with his players during the game. They are 6 points behind a stuttering Brighton and they might go up automatically. I don;t think they will rest players though in the FA Cup. Not with it being the 5th round. They'll probably think that a good showing against us will just add to the momentum of their season.

They made several changes against Rochdale last round so I expect they will have one eye on their fixture vs Reading on the Tuesday after our game. Be surprised if they go full strength.
