Not gonna dwell on the result, its been a great season again winning another 3 trophies hopefully a great summer of players coming in to freshen us up now
It's not even the best stadium in North LondonIt's always been that way just we all fell for the hype.
Back in the day the FA Cup winners got more praise and publicity than the champions of the old first division, WTF.
The whole world does NOT stop to watch the final, that is a myth.
Wembley old and new is a shot hole, it's not the "home" of football.
I would think this week was the last opportunity for the team to celebrate since many of our lot will be off next week to join with international squads…..likewise little 2 day breaks away.yes I know my wife and this person works at City, that person was fuming after the match and said they’d been on it most of the week, as that person works there during the week I think they’d know a bit more why would they lie? They have nothing to gain from it. That person will be at the staff do tomorrow as well by the way.
Yep. The rags cancelled their official club end of season party, we seem to have been on the piss and took 3 days off. The optics of that didnt look good before the game, and especially now!!I though the 'big celebrations' were a mistake last Sunday. I've been saying it at work all week.
I know the argument is the players need to celebrate, but mentally you lose that 1or2% that's needed. It's like 'job done, season over'. We did it after Chelsea last season and drew with Brighton and lost at Brentford (with a much changed team I know).
On yesterday's game I agree with the comments on the CBs.
Why play Stones and Ake? Stones has hardly kicked a ball since the semi and Ake limped off at Fulham; playing the last 20 mins against West Ham.
Arrogance? Or has Stones' agent been claiming he's unhappy.
Seriously we needed Akanji's pace and we needed Dias' organisational skills.
We've not had a Pep brainfart for a while (or we've won if he has!) but he got this massively wrong.
And before anyone replies; I'm not entitled (I'm a season ticket holder of over 40 years) but losing yesterday has hurt. You lose games and that happens, but you give yourself the best opportunity to win them.
Yesterday we didn't.
