FA Cup Final Post Match thread

First congratulations to Wigan Athletic & Dave Whelan. They wanted it.
Second a big thanks to the wasters in sky blue who simply didn't try hard enough - especially Nasri, YaYa, Silva, Barry, Tevez & Aguero. Not one of you broke sweat all day.

I'm really pissed off too but if you put your favourite song on really loud n sing along like nobody's watching then everything will be ok :)

Girlfriend in a coma I know I know

Going to be a long Summer and once again City the butt of jokes and laughter when 12 months ago we were Champions

But that might be a good thing. Hunger been missing from Day 1 of this season.

Kompany talks a good talk, but I don't think a single one of our big name players has had a good season. Hart, Kompany, Silva, Yaya, Aguero all been poor.

Historically teams who have won Championships have struggled the next season.

Don't feel I've ever been so low, as I feel now, just gob smacked it has come to this, I seen it 2-3 years ago with the style he was playing, but because most of our fans are loyal beyond belief you refuse to see it, I've supported City since I was a kid, now 60 years of age, always will till I die, just wish he would fuck off as nobody seems willing to get rid of him, this was Italian boring shite at it's worse, resisted as long as I could from posting, just feel gutted and frustrated like all of us.

I thought tevez was our best player. He was linking attack and midfield as he usually does and a constant threat to Wigan on the edge of their area. Nasri also. He created our best chance. The one where Tevez nearly scored from in the 1st half

Yes, I felt Mancini made the wrong subs.

Now we're getting somewhere. Now, tell us more about that.

(FYI, I'm taking the piss right now. That line is my wife's psychologist bullshit inquiry technique. :-P )

Gutted too. And will be gutted all Summer. But we'll just come back hungrier for more next season.

It was neat, controlled (apart from Zab) but ultimately boring and very frustrating

Yet we played a great game at Wembley a few weeks ago against Chelsea. And we have played some great football under Mancini. Football that has only been matched by Arsenal in the Premiership.

We have goe backwards this season because of the transfers we have made and not made. I don't know if Mancini is responsible

Guess you're right. So many of us struggled for a ticket n proper got excited (and nervous) for what everyone was saying was a nothing cup final. But they treated it just like that. Dickov will be turning in his Mazda.

Don't feel bad. There's always a low before the high. Regardless, we're going to blow our load in the market this summer regardless of the manager. At least nowadays we have the means to immediately turn it around. Put it behind us and look forward to the progress that's still to come. This kind of shit will happen from time to time, regardless of that comment by Khaldoon last year. Now its time to come up with a great chant to mock the whole shit affair and get ready to use it so much next season we don't mind the loss at all.

1st half of last season I started to think I was wrong, as we started playing with the handbrake off, but no if it was the players, some would be the exception, today they just got past caring apart from Tevez and look what happened to him.
