FA Cup Games | 3rd Round | 4/5/6/7/8 Jan '24

I haven't missed VAR, taken about 5 minutes to decide this Chelsea goal was onside.

I know it's given Chelsea a goal they wouldn't have had but I can't be arsed with VAR.

It needs to at least be changed to a challenge system. Managers have 1 challenge and 5 seconds post incident to use it.

Woodgate. Another player who, like Gazza didn't achieve what his natural talent should have. Unfortunately he seemed to be made of glass. A lot of bad injuries, IIRC.
Brilliant defender. Just couldnt play more than twice a season on the every other seaosn he was ‘fit’.

play style wise very close to John Stones

Var is fucked. that took waaaaay too long
How it’s used for me. Tech will always improve. Humans take a while to catch up. The semi-automated system is a shedload quicker. No lines drawn or all that geometry that happens in England.

However, if it’s for the sake of spicing things up on the football front, and ‘organic’ controversy, then do away with the tech and go back to leaving it all solely to on pitch officials.

Tech has come in to aid the game (goal line) but the same shit officials that were shit 10-15 years ago are still shit today. Unless they improve, regardless of whether the tech is there or not, no one will be happy.

Apologies for the essay.

I’m so bored of watching football. Love City as much as ever and of course will always watch them, but any other games really not interested.

Realised that once again, as I sat watching a bit of the Sunderland game earlier.
Yeah; I'm not as keen on the game in general any more. I just find run of the mill PL games not involving City a bit "meh", to be honest.
