FA Cup R5 Draw | Peterborough (A)

Went with blackpool branch of the supporters club....only 13 sat on a wall near the corner flag...what is more frightening is that it only seems like yesterday and its over 40 yrs ago and I remember it clearly...ask me what I did on Friday and I havnt got a clue...it was packed behind the goal....Great days....
Ha ha. Me too - remember it so clearly, from blagging our way into the Social Club Bar before the game to a boozy trip back to Manchester. I cant remember much of what I did on Friday either :-)

RIP John Lynch. Great bloke

QPR got nearly 4000 tickets yesterday so I guess we'll get the same. Would expect cup scheme members to get one for this OK
Yes my Blade mate went the other week and away fans get all behind the goal and some down the side opposite cameras, Prepare for a Thursday night at the Posh I reckon with our next game being the Sunday after. Went in1981, I was only 14 and it was radio rental. Mr Durham got well triggered when I mentioned a few years ago on talksport that he hadn't got over said day. Hello Adrian ha ha.

Just been remeniscing with my bro. His ford capri jps special (2.0 litre). Me, his mate and him. Scarves out of the window all the way, seemed like a long pilgramage! Me standing up out of his sunroof at melton mobray where we stopped off, hoisting my subbuteo fa cup aloft to much cheering. Then inside the ground. Packed in, way way too many in there. Fences at the front. I could barely breathe, though loved every second! Bro is 7 years older so was shitting it trying to make sure I was ok. The goal. Just wowwwwww! What a day! The only game that season we couldn't get tickets for was the ipswich semi at villa park, so had to make do with "it's a goal!" on piccadilly radio. Spuds in the final this year please as redemption.

Peterborough at home please as I've never seen us play them at home. I saw us at London Road 41 seasons ago,
Cambridge away would be a good one but they're 2-0 down at the moment.
I know Boreham Wood are still in but I doubt they'll get past Bournemouth.
