FA Cup SF | Liverpool | Sat 16 Apr 15:30 | Travel, Ticket & Pub Discussion

What reasons are being given?

I get it though, the FA'S decision to schedule FA Cup semi's over Easter weekend is the biggest fuck up in this whole sorry farce.

Think about it, the 4 teams only know they are in it a month before.

At least with league games fans have about 9 months to plan if they are to attend a game over Easter or not.

Easter, the busiest time of the year and generally first opportunity for people / Families to get a way or have a break or whatever. Plans will have been made by many that didn't include the possibility of a cup semi final probably in London.

Some cunts head at the FA should fuckin roll for this shitshow.
Most are going away on holiday or have family plans for the weekend.

If we somehow fluke a win against the "this means more" mob, and you want to stay within walking distance of Wembley, you better start saving your pennies. The IBIS or St George's hotels are between €650-716 for two nights.Screenshot_20220323-174053_Bookingcom.jpg

Looks like it'll be out in the sticks for me, should we get there.

Even accounting for the usual faffing about of all the stakeholders the decision on whether to play Match A and Match B on day 1 or day 2 seems to be taking a ridiculous amount of time.

Maybe they’re actually exploring other possibilities
Total farce mate. That information should be ready the morning after the draw, if not before.

fuck that off
any organised coach will be a dry coach ,national express are too.
I resent it ,i can drink in a car,on a train,but not a coach.
o
All coaches are, by law, dry. It is simply the coach company being decent to customers. We used to do a stop before the police escort where every trace, ring pulls the lot, were removed.

Never considered going a few hours without a drink? And don't kick off on me, I'm not having a go, and I don't fancy an argument. It's just a simple question. I'm not moralising or preaching.

100% correct.
It couldn't be done for earlier rounds but with the semi finals there are only three possible outcomes in terms of who plays who. The dates and broadcasters of each possible option should be decided in advance and confirmed within minutes of the draw.

Sititng in a coach for more than an hr is so mind numbingly boring though, at least on a train you can go for a wander up the carriages or in a car stop off for a rest.

So even if you are fine not drinking it's awful.
