Manchester City has secured an initial 50 coaches to operate a day trip travel package for the FA Cup Semi-Final against Liverpool at Wembley Stadium over the weekend of 16/17 April.
This follows Network Rail’s announcement that there will be nationwide rail disruptions during the Easter Weekend, which means that direct train travel from Manchester to London Euston is unavailable.
Coach tickets will be priced at £40 per person, and further information about how you can purchase a seat and a match ticket will be issued next week.
The match will be played on either Saturday 16 or Sunday 17 April, with the date and time of kick-off still to be confirmed by the FA.
Get Greta on the phone now.

train situation is very frustrating..what an oversight..

i remember getting this while i worked in London. £50 chartered, same night return, few legends on it, free gifts and all blues on the beer. 2 or 3 running of these would of been great. I think we were sponsored by Virgin at the time.

Give them a chance there are two games they have to schedule on two days. That's a lot of planning, it's not something that can be done in a day. I still reckon that they want the London teams playing on a Saturday and our game on a Sunday but because the wall pushers play Tuesday and Everton at home on the Wednesday it's too difficult to sort as Everton play Leicester who are already playing on the Sunday so they won't agree to move game so the FA have screwed up by allowing Sky etc to pre determine dates
Are you wumming?

Give them a chance! All possible variables should've been sorted BEFORE the qrtr finals outcomes.

Don't forget 1 of the S/F teams was known Friday night.

The other 3 confirmed Sunday and basically it could've been a different Scouse Team and South Coast Team involved plus Forest. Not too different to the actual outcome.

At least set the fucking day and ko time and work on transport afterwards.

If widely expected they aren't budging from Wembley then what is the fucking issue!

I was being sarcastic, the FA have totally screwed this up and nobody seems to give a fuck apart from the odd articel here and there. It's been over 80 hours since the draw and all they have is two games to organise. Utter disdain for the fans.

50 coaches really doesn't make that much of an indentation - clearly City and Liverpool are having issues securing extra coaches for Easter weekend as no doubt many will already be earmarked for other trips - but we can't blame the clubs as they're not the ones responsible for this shit show. This one is on the FA. Fucking incompetent twats.

Look, the FA dressed in their expensive designer grey suits don't give a f*** about football fans. 'Football without fans is nothing'. Remember? All the FA are interested in is the revenue generated by holding the FA Cup Semi-Finals at Wembley.

I'm out. Another City fan can have my ticket. Hopefully they will enjoy the result, the day, the expense, and the hassle of getting to and from Wembley.
