p.s I expect an attendance below 85000 for the final, 10,000 below capacity because of the club wembley shambles and there will be an outcry but nothing will get done about it !

You made this post seventeen days ago

You have been itching for it to not sell out a week before city even announced their allocation

Why?

It has fuck all to do with city you troll, city will sell their allocation.

Both City and Chelsea sold out their allocation and their additional allocation.
Empty seats were down to neither team so stop casting your shitty aspersions

Why not start a 'we didn't sell out Wembley' thread?
Aspersions against who ?! Wot r u on about ? All people are saying is that City have been slow and Wembley are a joke. Don't think there are too many aspersions there ! City and Chelsea sold their allocations ( just about in Chelskis case ) but the fact remains we could have sold more if the FA had given them to us. There WERE 5,000 empty seats at the semi FACT !! There will be double that because of two reasons; City being slow to sell these tickets and the FA not giving us more tickets. There's no aspersion there, just facts !!
Fuck me, someone's got their apple catchers in a twist.

Eh ? Wot r u on about ? What me and thousands of blues are waiting for is to get a ticket for the final. We all want a total sell out with the maximum number of supporters of both clubs at the final. You seem to have a problem with that.

Re: FA CUP Ticket information

I don't really understand why City are getting criticised. They had to set the original points criteria based on selling 26,000 tickets, they couldn't be certain of getting more from the FA. When they did get more they had to set the subsequent criteria based on the take-up of the original tickets plus the extra 5,700. City can only deal with what's in front of them, they can't second guess what the FA is going to do.

MaineRoadBlue seems desperate for this not to sell out.

Why would he be ? If he is like me and thousands of others he will be critical of City and the FA. City have sold these tickets far too slowly and are now seriously jeopardising our chances of getting any more tickets. Believe it or not there are thousands of blues like me who have not had a season ticket for a while for legitimate reasons but are every bit as loyal as anyone who has recently acquired thousands of loyalty points, often by buying them rather than supporting the club btw. As for the FA, what a joke. This crap about Wigan selling 25k tickets is just that, utter crap. They have not even sold their initial 21,000 allocation as of two weeks after them going on sale. There are thousands of tickets that have not been sold for this game and it will be to wembley's utter shame and embarrassment that this will be the 'empty seat' final as someone said earlier. There were 5,000 empty seats at the semi between two of England's biggest clubs. This will be double at very least thanks to the despicable FA.
The quote button is in the bottom right corner of a post.

I'm not sure why he is desperate for it not to sell out but like you it would seem he is. Why else would he keep telling us that we are likely to get all these extra tickets when it is clear these tickets are already being sold by Wigan?

And for the hard of understanding I shall repeat

That is not City's fault!

Marvin, the official attendance at Chelsea v City was 85,000, which is 5,000 below capacity. However it stacks up, club wembley or whatever, there were 5,000 empty seats !

That is not City's fault. We could have sold those tickets but weren't allowed them because they are owned by others - whether they choose to go or not.

People always moan when they don't qualify for a ticket for a Final etc and, of course, it's easy to blame the club

-- Thu May 02, 2013 9:27 pm --
