FA CUP Ticket information-SOLD OUT 17:40

Re: FA CUP Ticket information

Marvin, the official attendance at Chelsea v City was 85,000, which is 5,000 below capacity. However it stacks up, club wembley or whatever, there were 5,000 empty seats !

I wish that were true but it's not

Tomorrow is solely for people with 3500 and over

Nope, Geoffchall as it right, small window of loyalty points opportunity tomorrow as you could have bought today if over 4.5K without needing the cup scheme.

I still maintain it went to Blue Card holders with the same quantity of tickets for the semi and it could very well do again.

No chance now. It will sell out tomorrow. The other day there were 47 blocks on sale. There are now about 8. They won't be completely empty so maybe only have 200 free in each. I would be surprised if there are more than 1500 tickets left. They may release more but you can't bank on that.
I think there's more tickets than that left. The average block size is 500 seats , but those blocks look like they hold more than that and with all the £85 tickets we had, I bet they were a lot more popular and so maybe not that many £115 tickets in those blocks have gone? All guessing. Back to Chelsea

Both City and Chelsea sold out their allocation and their additional allocation.
Empty seats were down to neither team so stop casting your shitty aspersions

Why not start a 'we didn't sell out Wembley' thread?

We have sold out the cheapest 2 categories.

Gutted I was hoping to get two of the cheapest category with my seasoncards and take my other half, I've already picked one up for myself through a friend of a friend @ 115 on half way line but would of sold that on if I got two cheaper ones sat together..... Ah well hopefully we get more tickets from the fa, why can't the official website keep everyone updated when a category sells out??
They do
Where? Last update I can see is from Tuesday 30th April saying we got additional tickets

Aspersions against who ?! Wot r u on about ? All people are saying is that City have been slow and Wembley are a joke. Don't think there are too many aspersions there ! City and Chelsea sold their allocations ( just about in Chelskis case ) but the fact remains we could have sold more if the FA had given them to us. There WERE 5,000 empty seats at the semi FACT !! There will be double that because of two reasons; City being slow to sell these tickets and the FA not giving us more tickets. There's no aspersion there, just facts !!

Cup Final 2011 - 88,500
Cup Final 2012 - 89,000

Both sell outs.

...and both City and Chelsea sold out for the semi and that was 85k. So whatever the reasons, the competing clubs cannot be blamed for 'under occupancy'.
