Re: FA CUP Ticket information

It seems the main argument for not being in the Cup Scheme is affordability, how come those complaining about not being able to get a ticket can afford it now ? A mid range ticket for the Final is about the same price as what we paid at home for the other games to be in with a chance of getting a ticket. Just saying.

Oy get your own tag line or I'll set BB aka blue81 on you.

Just sayin'

The club have been very clever...Without the club doing anything I reckon the cup scheme membership will increase so much next season.

I reckon next year we will have a lot more on the cup schemes purely and simply as a result of fans not getting cup final tickets

Not really mate, we had the same arguments for the Stoke final and some fans still did not take the warning

Alright Mick...Hope you are well...It will certainly be interesting when the season tickets are released etc and how many do join.

I think there seems to be 2 camps forming in the loyalty debate. Camp 1 I've been going for years so I'm more loyal and shouldn't have to attend early rounds and camp 2 I love the fa cup and attend all fixtures regardless so why I should I miss out on the final! I think the club can't cater for both and do a good job. Lets face it they can't please everyone! I personally am missing out because I don't have enough points even though I did attend all fa cup games bar stoke away but that's only fair isn't it? I didn't expect to get tickets to the semi and was glad I did. Ill serve my time like everyone else and soon enough it will be my turn :) just my 2 pence on the situation

Personally I think the Cup Scheme is a fair way - if you've committed to go to the ealrier rounds then you should be able to go to the Semi / Final - For what it's worth I'm a ST holder with 7000+ points and was not in the cup scheme so was sweating for a bit.

I think the only other way for City to have done it would be to allow Cup Schemas to have a bonus 6,000 points for that one game - that way both Cup Schemas and Long standing supporters were on a equal footing...

Either way we knew the rules at the start of season - I suspect most will be electing for the scheme next year :-s
