Nor does being in the cup scheme mean that you can, being a scheme member for the last couple of years I've missed a few games as I've been working.
Agree with this I imagine for some they are spending a lot of money on a season ticket maybe 2 and agreeing to spend more is too much
I have sympathy with any Blue, who genuinely couldnt afford to join the Cup Scheme, but without being arrogant, as others have pointed out, A Semi final ticket cost about the same as this years commitment to the Cup Scheme, and a Final Ticket probably considerably more if you take into account travel, food etc. so in reality, if you couldnt afford the cup scheme commitment, you would be struggling to afford a Final ticket anyway
We aren't going to get any seats in the Wigan end, due to segregation. Unless they have empty blocks next to us.n_mcfc said:Does anyone think there's a chance of more tickets being released? I mean, genuinely?
Looking on Wiggin's website and they're still on open sale. I'm contemplating getting a ticket in their end but if they've still got thousands left 3-4 days before the final, would the FA rather there be empty seats on show or give them to us?

You're presuming that peoples financial situation stays the same all year round. For some they may be able to afford tickets as the games come around, but can't say three or four months in advance that will be the case. I have seen more than a few in this thread not on the cup scheme that ended up going to all of our games, I didn't go to all but went to some this year despite not being in a position earlier in the year to guarantee I was going to be able to do so.
