FA CUP Ticket information

If you look at the Wigan ticket news it says if they sell there 21,000 tickets they will get 4000 more so I am hoping that if they don't sell them we might get them ?
Against Stoke we got an extra 2000 from I think sponsors returns ?
I automatically assumed I'd get a ticket being a season ticket holder with 5500 points
I've already booked trains and accommodation before ticket announcement so very worried.
Hopefully we will get an extra Wigan allocation and sponsor returns

Hi all, flights and accomodation paid for, I am coming from Adelaide Australia with my nephew and require 2 tickets. Has any1 used getinthematch.com before? I saw a post on here back in 2011 where some1 was askiin the same question!. I called the number on the website and spoke to a Danny. Would appreciate any info on this website and how safe it is to use. Danny had no trouble with a meet for a ticket/cash exchange. Thanks Stu. ctid..

Unless you want to see your tickets in hand then NO they are a well known company who are a complete fraud they take your money and you dont get the tickets then lo and behold you cant get in touch with them there was a thread or poster on here a few weeks ago with their story on them

Why worry? Even if you don't get a ticket you can still go down have a top day and watch it in the pub. Or you can jib in.

It is a joke that the cup scheme is the deciding factor for tickets.6500 points and waiting.
Not really, it was made very clear at the start that cup scheme members would get priority for the cup tickets

I think you'll be OK.

The only problem I see with City's sale process is that it is quite protracted so fans lower than you in the queue wont know how likely you are to get tickets for quite some time - and while waiting there'll be looking elsewhere

Having gone through all of this in 2011 when I wasn't on the cup scheme but managed to get a ticket on the third day of sales you have to have buried your head in the sand not to see the requirements for the future.
FA Cup Tickets - join the cup scheme and ditto for the other cup competitions. When we make it to a European Cup Final I want to be there - so I join that scheme. Very clear and very simple conditions illustrated by precedence in 2011 and all the blurb at the start of the season.

Even though City only have 26,000 tickets to sell. The ground holds 90,000 and the opponents are Wigan. There'll be the biggest grey market for tickets in the history of the FA Cup and a lot of those tickets will work their way through to City fans. With FA committees and sponsors having tickets which they don't want or can't sell. For the neutral, City v Wigan is not Man Utd v Liverpool. Many wont be bothered.

I would hazard a guess and say that there won't be many of those (potential) 25,000 tickets not sold by Wigan. They're averaging near as damnit 19,000;

<a class="postlink" href="http://espnfc.com/stats/attendance/_/league/eng.1/barclays-premier-league?cc=5739#" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://espnfc.com/stats/attendance/_/le ... e?cc=5739#</a>

It won't be that difficult for them to shift an extra 6k to hangers on. If that many, as they may not limit ALL season ticket holders to 1 ticket each. Don't get your hopes up re. returned Wigan tickets.

I wouldnt hold much hope of getting those extra tickets from wigan.. they will sell the allocation.. season tickets and members can get two each.. i think most are aware city fans will by the spare and pay for a day out.. so im certain most will get all they can.
