I understand that people can't sign up to the cup scheme as they have work commitments or won't have the money available when it comes to be taken out, but you must know that when you don't sign up you don't have priority of tickets? If we wouldn't have got to wembley those on the scheme wouldn't give a toss about those that have agreed to pay no matter who we get. We had the same problem a couple of yrs ago, everyone should have know it was only gonna get worse.

It said when you renewed that Cup Scheme members would get priority

Its already been explained in detail why I didn't join. Others would have similar stories I'm sure.

And I disagree that there is no reason why someone on the scheme should have priority. I can think of plenty.

If the cup scheme us effectively a cup season ticket why do points you get from joining go on your loyalty points for away games in the league? The answer us that just as people who go to cup games contribute to our league successes, people who go to league games contribute to our cup successes

Eh?

You don't receive different loyalty points for hom and away games.

Loyalty points all go onto one total.

Exactly my point. Cup points are recognised for league games so imo league points should be recognised more for cup games.

Aso if you're going to have a scheme that recognises loyalty in cup competitions only surely it should recognise loyalty over time, not just each individual season.

But loyalty points are recognised in the Cup Schemes. Those with 8000 points or more and on the C/S get first dabs at tickets for the final, as they did for the semi. Those with 7000 points and above are eligible from the second day, and so on.

This is rewarding those who commited to the C/S from the start of the season because it makes things easier for the club. Less time taken up processing cup ticket orders. It only needs an email - probably automated - to confirm purchase and seats Nos. and the Season Card being activated for the games.

Big queues at DW today and also selling online

Papers said Wigan sold 22k for the semi but they based that on the 10k which they announced had been returned by Wigan to the FA. Some Wigan fans reckon they didn't sell the remainder and took about 16k to Wembley. From the pictures of their end which was no more than half full I'd say that's 16k is a lot closer to the truth than 22k.

But this is the Cup Final. They should sell more.

s/t holder 5900 points not on cup scheme this year, what are me chances?
50/50
Surely more than that. I can't see 26k tickets (minus supporter clubs, players etc) all going to Cup scheme members

For the semi-final the first members allowed to buy after Scheme members were Seasoncard holders over 4,000 points
But we had 7000 more tickets allocated to us for the semi which is why it went down that low. Final tickets will be like rocking horse shit and i really can't see many tickets going to those with less than 6000 points not on the cup scheme.
Hope i'm wrong and you do get a ticket, you're best chance might be corporate returns and Wigan underselling added to our allocation but we won't know about this for at least another week or so.

Anyone on the cup scheme will get a ticket!!

I was going to say, why are people keep asking about loyalty point totals when on the fa cup scheme if much chance.

There are more tickets available than we have members on the fa cup scheme from the info I've gathered?
