I hadn't noticed RVP left the field to celebrate. isn't that an automatic yellow card? I am pretty sure it is.

Good shout!
I would use our friends at the M.E.N. to help us with the media coverage on this, even get the club to put a mention in the fan zone section of the OS? Maybe copy SSN into all the letters to the FA?
Just an idea.

From the current "Laws of the Game" document:

Cautionable Offences

A player is cautioned and shown the yellow card if he commits any of the
following seven offences:

• unsporting behaviour
• dissent by word or action
• persistent infringement of the Laws of the Game
• delaying the restart of play
• failure to respect the required distance when play is restarted with a corner kick, free kick or throw-in
• entering or re-entering the field of play without the referee’s permission
• deliberately leaving the field of play without the referee’s permission

Interesting letter I'll wait to see the response, but get someone to proof read what you put before sending, Its a minor thing but at a professional level even small inadequacies are picked up on and can affect the readers opinion. (Clattenburg, ROBIN Van Persie and not really what is termed a challenge from behind either).

Good luck though (Im sure if you posted up what you intended to send on everyone else's behalf before you send it then most will give it the once over instead of us just finding out what you have sent in our name after the event !)

You are correct, an automatic yellow card, the FA have looked at it and just warned him about his responsibility in the future, another case of "he plays for one of the recognised big 4", you couldn't make it up.

I think you'll find Monty offered the letter for perusal on a previous thread. You can nitpick about Clattenburg but there is nothing wrong with addressing Van Persie as Mr and omitting the first name. I'm afraid I'd disagree with you about the direction of his challenge on Ade too. Monty is doing a great job, support not carping is what we want to see.

Hi Nixon,

I did, near the bottom of page 3 of the thread you were on yesterday:

<a class="postlink-local" href="http://www.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=140207&start=20" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">viewtopic.php?f=1&t=140207&start=20</a>.

Sorry you missed this.

I wish to apologise to you on behalf of my nation for making a mistake. I will try and not let it happen again.
