Its not like its the first time that he's 'lunged' stupidly into an unnecessary tackle and got a red. A slow learner it seems. An honest player but wouldn't look out of place in The Championship.
Happened in 2012 under Mancini as well. Despite justice eventually prevailing by the skin of it’s teeth, I suspect even slur Alex knows the rags wouldn’t have got within a dozen points of us, that year, without the benefit of some right dodgy officiating.Have been since Pep started, last year we were just to good for it.
I've seen it a few times, I can't agree, he got there well before there player, and played the ball, his follow through had nowhere to go, you can't turn left or right in mid air, the lad was in the way, never a red, not even a foul for me.At first I thought it was a good, hard tackle but when they showed it again he definitely deliberately left something on him and with someone like Dean you run the risk of it being a red. For one of the more senior players in the team, it was a reckless and irresponsible thing to do.
Doesn't really excel as a midfielder either though, that's one of the main reasons why he's playing at fullback.fancy a midfield player not excelling when playing as a makeshift fullback .
So spectacular they almost repeated it as another ball went over his head to the man he'd lost. He is like a fish out of water at fullback .Even as someone who always thought Zee is the better Leftback, perhaps the best on the squad, I have to defend Delph or here.
The goal was simply a spectacular move by Albrington. Anyone that blames Delph there simply is either clueless or hurting and looking for someone to lash out at.
I get it. But that's just wonderful movement as opposed to poor defending.
Disappointed with the red,but when you go full blooded, and follow through.....a **** like Dean doesn't need an excuse. What disappoints me is the amount of similar challenges against us,over the past couple of seasons, that have gone without equal punishment.
Delph is a winner,he probably saw others not pulling their weight, and in that moment he simply allowed his desire and frustration to get the better of him.
Still a great player, with a faultless attitude, and someone id have in my squad every time.
That is sad coming from an alleged blueHis red card was the best thing he done today.
He is not good enough player for us. how many goals he will cost us?
Me too. For months we have posters screaming out that we dont have a tackler in our line up. Delph tackled hard and fair yesterday, something that we have lacked of late and still, he cannot winDisappointed with the red,but when you go full blooded, and follow through.....a **** like Dean doesn't need an excuse. What disappoints me is the amount of similar challenges against us,over the past couple of seasons, that have gone without equal punishment.

It wasn’t Dean that sent him off, it came from the linesman.Disappointed with the red,but when you go full blooded, and follow through.....a **** like Dean doesn't need an excuse. What disappoints me is the amount of similar challenges against us,over the past couple of seasons, that have gone without equal punishment.
