What?If he has a buyout clause it doesnt matter if another club bids more.

Why?Yes I know but if say the rags bid £10 (Woodward) has history for over bidding We'll have to up personal terms.
If he has a buyout clause Villa have to accept it whether someone bids more or not. What?
Perhaps another club would like a cheap HG player and would still see value a couple of million more than the clause, Villa would lean on him to go to the highest fee payers. Why?
Villa can lean all they like. It's not their decision once a buyout clause has been met.Perhaps another club would like a cheap HG player and would still see value a couple of million more than the clause, Villa would lean on him to go to the highest fee payers.

So you are saying if the buyout is 8m and city offer that amount and then another club offers say 12m, they have to sell to city?If he has a buyout clause Villa have to accept it whether someone bids more or not.

Thank you. That explains it better. They have 2 accept both offers if both in the champs league and then it's upto the player
Juve doesnt have to accept Barcas offer if they don't want to sell to them.Bit like Juve wouldn't lean on Pogba to join us over a lower offer (if one was made by Barca)?
Bottom line is the Delph deal should be closed out quickly so we as a club could concentrate on the bigger deals.
