Really?

He is a decent player, but nothing more than that. For 8m, you cannot grumble really, he fills the HG quota and is at a relatively cheap price. I genuinely don't think we would consider him if he wasn't available at that price.

8m for HG and fit most of the time is better than 30m+ for HG fit 30% of the time (Wilshere). It's worth the quota cost alone plus he could be a pretty decent squad player.

whilst he will never be a world beater are you saying a player should not believe in his own ability to maybe progress further in his playing career at a club like ours?

Barry,milner,lescott all come into delphs level id say and they did a great job for us in the past 4 years.

never be good enough mate, even in those hopeless England qualifiers his passing was awful,fit and a game runner , but lucky to be english and .....Cheapish. May improve among better player s ? Not convinced but happy to be proved wrong .

Good squad asset, and HG (FFS), but let's face it - he's no Yaya replacement or pogba substitute. If he does come I hope he's another Milner, and not another Sinclair.
