He's always come across as a decent bloke. If he's listened to Micah about fucking up his England chances then he'll go down in my estimations.
 
Well maybe it's a good sign, someone at the club told him that Pogba is coming, so the turnaround.... Lol. Seriusly, fair play to him and good luck, i think we'll survive.
 
Why are people saying he's bottled it, lacks ambition etc?
Lescott wasn't getting picked for the national side because he wasn't a regular starter for us (according to woy) . Delph knows this. Everyone does. If he was being linked with the rags or Liverpool, he'd be a 1st team regular, like he is at Villa.

No I agree, it's turned into a lynching for BluePhil so needs locking for his own safety.

BTW does anyone else think if this had happened to Manure, we'd be laughing at Woodward and calling it embarrassing.........just a thought.
 
this could actually really backfire on delph if Villa go down next season...they weren't far off going down last season and if the 3 promoted teams did well (unlikely i know) he could find himself in a championship team next season and that really wouldn't do his england prospects any good either.

hahaha, Humiliation? it's incredible.
We weren't 'turned down' - he said yes, then changed his mind. There's nothing humiliating about that, it only raises doubts about Delph's clarity of decisive thinking.
There needs to be a set of web life bouys on here - for the number of folks going overboard.

Thought the thread was locked so I've PMd you this as well.

No one has asked me to settle down. Various mods have disagreed with my opinion, most of them have called me a ****, a fanny, a dickhead and a lot more, but none of them have told me I have to change my stance or get banned. I thought forums were for open discussion? Obviously not.

I'm saying you specifically have an issue.with criticism of Txiki, not the other mods.
