Fabregas

I think Barcelona will accept United bid and he will be pushed out.
I don't - unless FCB feel they have a replacement in their youth players

Thiago has gone, Xavi is 33 so Fabregas becomes more important.

Even if Utd offer stupid money, and the reported £30m plus add-ons is approaching that, then if FCB feel they have to replace him, how would they do that at this stage in the Summer. They'd have to pay well over the odds, and the players they want may not be available

Fabregas to United really doesn't make any sense at all. First of all Fabregas was recently quoted as saying the only people he owes anything to in life is his ' Mum, Dad and Arsene'

But more importantly Barcelona are incredibly lightweight in midfield, if they let Fabregas go they will only be left with

Xavi ( 33, going on 34)
Iniesta
Busquests
Song
Sergi Roberto

If they kept hold of Thiago then maybe , but imagine if Iniesta picks up and injury they are screwed.

I'm almost certain Cesc won't be leaving this year, he'll be the main man this year

Fabregas is an excellent player and Utd's bid of £30m is fucking derisory.

Easily a £40m player imo.

The loss of Tito also complicates this further. Barcelona will want to steady the ship, not inflict even further change/loss on themselves.

Interesting that Cabaye has been thrown into the media mix this morning.

Fabregas lite.

City paid £30m incl add-ons for Fernandinho and we'd "over paid", and now Utd bid considerably more for Fabregas and it's derisory!

This bid is doomed to fail.

It'll be Baines, Cabaye and maybe Fellaini

Baines is top top top top top notch signing but yet the other 2 would be hilarious. The mighty man u aiming for the best and ending up with tier 3 players <3

They must have some encouragement from somewhere (Barca or the Cesc camp), no top club can be so stupid as to keep bidding if they know there is no chance of it happening.

Would be epic if the Cesc camp are playing United to get him an improved position of importance at Barca.
This is what I think is happening. I think United genuinely think they have a chance of signing him. Whereas he just wants a new deal at Barça.

Don't be ridiculous. We look after our own business

You forget that Arsenal have an option on the player should FCB accept a bid

If you intend to be condescending, at least try to do it with a water-tight argument.
Considering that we are still lacking a substantial amount of skill, despite reinforcement in the form of Fernandinho, in central midfield, it doesn't take rocket science to understand why we should throw our hat in the ring, as regards to Fabregas.
Infact we have inquired about a similar midfielder this summer, only to be informed of his status of availability, or lack thereof.
Therefore, if Cesc Fabregas is for sale, be rest assured that Manchester City will be contacted concerning his availability, and will get involved in this transaction, as will other elite clubs.
Why, you may ask?
Well, if you happen to pull your head out of your pretentious ass you'll understand that this will only serve to benefit Barcelona, if, as they claim, generation of transfer funds is their motivation.
It's 'arse', not 'ass'.

This is an ass:
