Jones and Welbeck will be great for us, Jones especially. I think he has the most potential. With Welbeck it's just a question of where he will end up. After all he slated us and caused no end of bad blood between ourselves and Everton over the Lescott transfer and called our behaviour disgusting !! Welbeck is class, If I was Moyes I'd try him beside Carrick this season. Dembele was a hard-working, skillful, quick, non-goalscoring striker so I don't see why Welbeck can't be. Who knows what goes on behind closed doors though? This very public to and fro between the clubs is one thing but I can't imagine we'd be daft enough to persist without some indication in private that a deal could be reached. If anything to save face in case Fabregas stays.

I agree. If you really read what they printed it's pure speculation. "Barcelona may consider a £35million offer, " but they didn't say United made a 35m offer or was even willing to. Like saying City would consider 100m offer Silva.
