"Not sure if this is a serious comment or not but the answer is that yes we do."

That last line was a wee bit sarcastic.

The point I was making - admittedly with my tongue in my cheek - is that we can weather a season out of Europe.

For a team like Arsenal, it would be unthinkable. For a team like us, just a pain in the arse.

Tancredi Palmieri just said on twitter that according to Sky Italy, we made contact with Napoli over Cavani again today.

According to Sky Italy we had contact with Napoli over Cavani today(Via Tancredi Palmeri, journalist on Twitter.):

"Manchester City had another contact today with Napoli for Cavani, according to Sky Italy".

Yep, Cavani is our man, much better fit for our squad than Falcao.

@City_Watch: Sky Italy's Gianluca Di Marzio: City today met with Napoli representatives in London to discuss a deal for striker Edinson Cavani. (1/2)

@City_Watch: City want to include a player such as Tevez or Dzeko to bring down the £53m price tag but De Laurentiis would prefer the entire fee. (2/2)

Cavani is The One, he'd suit us better than Falcao. Fast, strong, endless workrate and stamina... great for a hard working team which is what Pellegrini will want to build.
