Fan Behaviour

That’s never been the case with City. We have always had one of the highest number of arrests every season going back decades.

That’s how I see it. We have always had a proper scumbag element, just like our close and not-so-close rivals. Always some bullies ready to take liberties. Was like this in the early 80’s when I went to loads of away games.

Regardless of the incident yesterday, our support is on the decline. We barely create an atmosphere, it’s been getting worst steadily for a few years. We just sit there and wait for us to score.

I also can’t believe the Norwich game at the weekend isn’t sold out, first full capacity game for 17 months and there’s still seats available.

I reckon it's all the season ticket deferrals, must be having to shift an extra 8-10k matchday tickets

Never heard of the Mills Hill Villains.
Are you sure they are not Villa fans in disguise??
A very tidy mob from Chadderton/Middleton Junction back in the day.
Most are well behaved now, but still go to the games.

Surely that’s a Spurs away shirt?
It was. He was a foreign fella stood with another bloke who had the City Hacienda away shirt on. I had to tell him that it was probably in his best interest that he put his jacket on.
On the other hand, me and the wife blagged our way into Beehive on the High Road after the game. Both had City shirts on (uncovered after we got in) and we had a great time with the Spurs fans.

There’s literally a few hundred tickets left for Norwich. Arsenal have got thousands left for their derby against Chelsea. Even accounting for Arsenal apathy, that’s unheard of for that fixture at the Emirates. I’m not sure even United sold out against Leeds - attendance was less than 73,000. People need to realise that while many of us are desperate to get back to watching football in full stadia, there’s still a pandemic on and plenty of regular match-going fans are still shielding so there will be no shows all over the place for the foreseeable

They’ll also be a fair few who won’t be coming back…

It's the deferrals and probably covid passes etcetera, just in case you're spot checked. I've a feeling it will be pretty empty given the problems people are having who have actually renewed their seasoncards. I haven't sorted mine yet, I bought the wrong bloody phone. If I don't sort it I'll just give it a miss, that will be another empty seat. All on the club.

The atmosphere is dreadful on the whole. Even the myth more younger fans will increase it has been dispelled in this very thread. The lad admitted they sing in pubs and on the concourse to video it but don't sing much when in their seats. Mad.
