Fan Behaviour

Yes. To balance out some of the negative stories. I met some old school Spurs fans who were great yesterday and I had a pint in the Beehive (always a very hard-core Spurs pub) before the match. Tottenham has always been an edgy trip but it was fine this time. Most of our fans were great as well in what was a fantastic atmosphere. With 60,000 people, many drinking all afternoon in the sun, there will always be a few idiots. Not doubting anyone's experience but just trying to provide a bit of context.

I remember at the height of the hooligan days me and a mate were having a pre match pint and game of pool in the Snooty Fox on Princess parkway before a Spurs game. In came six big lads, a bit older than us, all Spurs. I thought, fuck here we go, readying the pool cue. Anyway they were sound, we had a good laugh and when they left they'd bought us a drink behind the bar, top lads.

Can 100% confirm this incident did happen also. The lad it happened to was on my coach.
The lad (over 25 by the way) said he had asked this guy if his lad could not stand on his seat because he and others around him were struggling to see the game. The guy told his child not to move and he would continue standing on his seat. Another person from the coach came to his seat and then also asked if the kid could not stand on his seat because he couldn't see. The Dad said "You know what, I'm f***ing sick of you lot" and punched the lad. Punches were thrown from both sides and then the Dad bit the lad's nose. Was a mess when he eventually arrived back to the coach (90 minutes after full time)

The young lad was about 10/11 years old. There was a lot of finger pointing going on and the "biter" left his seat and came in to the aisle, still finger pointing. Then made his was back to his seat -the "victim" was on the row behind him. He reached up and grabbed his face and pulled it towards him. Bizarrely, I thought he was giving him a drunken kiss as a peace offering! Realised he was then biting his nose!! Nothing then seemed to happen and the biter stayed where he was (right next to away fans) 2 Stewards then came down and escorted him out. His lad was in tears.

Also had to tell this chap to put his coat on.
Why is this nob in the City end?

It funny how you never see this young 'Coked up' element of our fanbase at Goodison Park, and I'm sure we wont see them at Ellend Road this season either (Funnily enough they were also absent at Huddersfield in the Cup a couple years ago)!

Now I am no Hooligan (far from it, i've never had a fight in my life)! but i've been going home and away with my dad for 28 years. Some of these so called boy's nowadays wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes in that old 3rd division. The 2 Sheffield clubs were particularly nasty ha!

Why is this nob in the City end?
Because he's a city fan plus being a nob, I travelled up from Devon on Sunday changed at New St, loads of City fans on board a good 60% pissed and a general pain the neck to other passengers. Sorry but all teams have got there share of knob heads including City.
