Brilliant - your deluded argument holds no water so you seize on a typo. It’s boring old fuddy duddies like you and the shrinking violet OP - “oooh heard other stories of violence too” who have largely ruined our away day atmospheres.

Let me spell it out for you sensitive types - random acts of senseless violence happen all day every day, it’s a savage garden out there. But individual acts of thuggery by dirt balls are nothing to do with the general scene of young men having a laugh with their mates and singing nasty songs and swearing and doing drugs - that’s just what happy testosterone filled young men do - remember ????
What an absolute tosser.

Nobody's ever called me a sensitive type, but most people draw the line at biting another person's nose.
Fair comment and I’d extend the sentiment to any kind of physical violence. But what irks me is the way snowflakes on here (I read your posts, I know you’re not one) conflate isolated acts of violence with a general boorishness which is a key element of young men on an away day.

If kids wanna snort a line or two and film themselves getting a bit rowdy leave em to it, they’re not harming anyone

It was. He was a foreign fella stood with another bloke who had the City Hacienda away shirt on. I had to tell him that it was probably in his best interest that he put his jacket on.
On the other hand, me and the wife blagged our way into Beehive on the High Road after the game. Both had City shirts on (uncovered after we got in) and we had a great time with the Spurs fans.
Yes. To balance out some of the negative stories. I met some old school Spurs fans who were great yesterday and I had a pint in the Beehive (always a very hard-core Spurs pub) before the match. Tottenham has always been an edgy trip but it was fine this time. Most of our fans were great as well in what was a fantastic atmosphere. With 60,000 people, many drinking all afternoon in the sun, there will always be a few idiots. Not doubting anyone's experience but just trying to provide a bit of context.

Was going for a pre match pint yesterday until I saw all of the clowns in the concourse.
In saying that I had half a dozen young fans next to me yesterday.
All behaved well and backed the team.
All got their photos taken with Noel Gallagher.
Noel acted brilliantly as well yesterday.
Getting all those photos taken with the fans.
Patience of a Saint.

His kid wasn’t stood on a chair next to him was he?
