Fan Behaviour

This bit concerns me. They probably used the same paint, or firm, that they used to paint the concourse in the south stand in 2015, remember that? People going over like ninepins because it was done wrong, myself included. I ended up with a bleed on the brain and a four year legal battle with City which was settled out of court. Madness, they've had plenty of times to test it at Spurs due to the pandemic.
This does my head in and it happens at most grounds in the country. In such a health and safety obsessed country as ours you would expect someone to pipe up that painting a smooth concrete slab with gloss is a bad idea

Man you people are out of touch. This whole issue is simply a case of older generations not having done coke cos it wasn’t around / affordable back then and just not understanding its effects.

People eventually fall asleep after drinking for hours but before that they become loud aggressive and confrontational. Coke gives people confidence rather than aggression - big difference.

I’d sooner deal with a bar full of people coked up than a bar full of drunks.

Thanks , I understand now.
It is always important to get the information from a confirmed user

In City's case it was supposed to have been a non slip flooring. After I fell and maybe others, they brought in an expert to analyse it. He concluded it hadn't been mixed correctly and the area I slipped on was the worst patch. A simple test pre season could have told them that. Dry it was a danger, wet it was lethal.

I slipped in the east stand level 1 when i was on crutches with a broken ankle at a youth team match, very painful but not a patch on your accident. Floor in that area was painted glossy blue, if they go to the trouble of painting it why not chuck some grit or sand or something in the mix to make it grippy?

They were supposed to but it wasn't done right. The legal problem we had is nobody would accept responsibility. The club contracted the work out, who sub contracted it, they then contracted somebody else to do the actual work. Four years of stress they caused me on top of the actual injury.

I bet it was awful, makes me realise it couldve been much much worse

Inflict as much damage as possible I'm guessing. It's a cunts trick and a cowardly way of fighting.

This is what you need to do

Really funny that in an otherwise sad and depressing thread. Blue on blue is appalling behaviour. The away end is supposed to be a safe haven and place for a good laugh. Just shows you evil is everywhere.

Luckily I didn't need an operation but it wasn't a pleasant experience. When you think you will just get up and go home , in spite of executing pain in your head but end up not knowing what month it is when asked and on your way to hospital with sirens and the blue light flashing it is pretty sobering.

Spare a thought for that poor fucker with the Bradford Spring
under his seat!

You don't think you have bitten someone's nose off? So you could have done then
Haha I reckon I'd have found out later if I hadn't remembered doing it. I've done many stupid things whilst whacked off me gord, but violence isn't usually an issue.
