Re: Fans lea
Given that this is the best football most of us will ever have seen City play in our lives, it's safe to assume that those leaving early now will ALWAYS leave early, no matter what happens on the pitch or whatever time the kick-off is.
Makes me laugh to hear cliched excuses like having to beat the traffic, but why? To go where? For their tea? To watch TV? Sure, some people may have to leave early for shift work or to catch a plane and I can understand that, but thousands of people, every game?
Maybe some people just don't deserve or even appreciate the team they've got? I'd rather the ground was half-empty at the start of the game and stayed that way, rather than looking half-empty with 10 minutes to go. It might be a bit draughty like Maine Road could often be when crowds were around the 20,000 mark but at least we'd know they were all loyal fans.
And to think we give it the rags about their ground emptying as the Derby day goals were flying in!
