- I love watching how indignant leavers are despite protestations that they don't give a f*ck - and how pious stayers can be.
The only fact in this whole thread is that the ground is sparse and lacking in atmosphere and appreciation at the end of the game. Some care, some don't.

Its called piss taking, aimed at those who (a) think we don`t care (b) think its our fault at the lack of atmosphere (c) our fault that the players are hurt at our refusal to stay until 90+ minutes and clap them off (d) everything fucking else thats our fault.
I have my own medical reasons for leaving early but I don`t have a problem with anyone else wanting to fuck off for whatever reason/s,neither do I complain at those who want to stay until whatever time.By the same token I don`t need a fucking lecture from these Billy Big Bollocks Bigger Than Thou Fans.
I`m fucked if I can find anything on my Season Ticket saying from the Club, that I must remain in my seat until told to do so.I bet some of these people doing the whinging are the same people who arrive late,go for a piss every 15 minutes, fuck off early at half time for a beer and fucking smokers.
Tin hat now firmly placed on bonce and eagerly awaits constructive criticism !! I wont hold me breath for the latter. ;)

Bloody hell Oakie watch your blood pressure (I know it's your blood pressure and you'll do what you like with it!). If you read my post correctly it was highlighting the futility of the debate coming from both sides.

I sit on a front row so I don't really get disturbed by the comings and going of others; and facing the Directors box (tier) I get to see lots of blue seats. My only experience is a bloke behind me who brings his wife and 2 young lads (probably 5 - 6 yrs). Nice bloke but at around 10 mins to go he says without fail - "next time the ball goes out". It's become a bit of a standing joke around us - he misses so many goals and incidents. Sometimes with 15 mins to go, and the scores level or the game tight, people are telling him to leave so that we will score. It's a shame for the kids because they are clearly very knowledgeable and are loving the match. I asked the girl next to them where they live (expecting it to be an expedition away) - "Middleton".
Before you start - about medical conditions and that not being typical - I accept that and couldn't agree more that it is entirely up to the individual.

Nice post GM,but my blood pressure only rises when I see the team sheet with Messrs,Kolarov,Lescott,Dzeko,Garcia, all in the fooking starting eleven. :)
Very seldom left early when I was in "me prime" and never left Maine Road until that final whistle. It honestly doesn`t bother me in the slightest, who goes and when.I`ve said before that I have to hang on for my lad anyway, who always stays till the end.
I still maintain that it sometimes depends on the opposition we`re playing.I fucking hate watching Stoke anyway,so I could have pissed off at 75 minutes anyway and possibly thats another reason for so many early leavers.
Yep I`ve missed a few goals even this season (can think of the 5-2 score against Arsenal at the time) and the Spurs goal.It doesn`t bother me in the slightest that I may miss more goals, but that doesn`t mean I don`t care about the team, club or players.
And breath deeply ... ;)

Oakie - you're excused from criticism as you're a doddery old bastard and if you didn't leave early you probably wouldn't remember where you lived. And even if you did remember you wouldn't get home before you had to come back for the next game.

I`d always have to come back .... just to pick me fooking crutches up again.

I never leave early. I never notice if someone does because i.m watching my team till the final whistle. Anyone who notices early leavers are not focusing on the team ,therefore are crap fans in my eyes.
