Fantastic Season

Taking covid, no strikers, sadly some players heads have totally gone. I would say this season has been one of our greatest ever.

We have played three games against them whilst fielding different players but deploying similar tactics. They set up to nullify our strengths and have done it each time. Each of the three games felt very similarand had a similar outcome.
Next season we need a different tactical plan against them.

Who’s had better across europe? It could have been better obviously, but then every season could be better with a couple of what ifs. Take overall though a league, a cup a semi final and a European final , yes pretty close to fantastic.

Not feeling it mate
 
If we lost the CL final fighting to the last minute I would say we did everything we could. But the fact that we had a shit performance from the first kick of the ball and mustered only 1 shot on target sucked all the glory of the league out of my soul!

This is not what I wanted for a finale to the season. It's ruined for me for now. Dunno when I will get over it. I guess I just need the league to restart so that I don't think about it anymore.

We won the league playing amazing football, we reached the CL final playing even better. Then on the final day we don't show up because Pep decided to tweak the formation!

So for me a fantastic season would end with us going down fighting and yesterday only one team was fighting to win it, and that was not us!

I think we do, but that will partly depend on who we buy, if we buy a striker we will be playing differently anyway. I’m not sure we have the players in the squad this year to play differently enough to break down how they, and to a lesser extent united, set up against us under Tuchel. We played Sterling so he and Mahrez high and wide would stretch their low block it didn’t work but with a Haaland or Kane probably would have. Maybe Aguero too but how fit he was to start we can’t know.
