but at the moment it is shite football every week without a win.

Yes, and the OP's point, which you so eloquently dismissed as "horseshit", was simply that Mourinho's teams play boring, economical, efficient, football.

It's funny, you can slag off Manchester City's manager to high heaven and back. No problem. But lord forbid you should make even a mildly negative comment about The Special One...

I must be missing something here Billy.... only a couple of weeks ago you had a thread pulled regarding Hughes and a certain player in which you was very pissed with Hughes and over the last few days i've noticed you've been very pro Hughes pulling other posters up on things like sly digs they may of made... just an observation not an attack on you :)

I've lost count of the amount of times I've said this on here in response to those clichéd posts about Mourinho playing boring football (you really should look & make your own mind up rather than listen to the media bollox), but during his spell at Chelski they scored an average of almost 3 goals per game.

I'd happily have some of that negative & boring football.

My chelski supporting mate constantly emphasised this to me. The reason Mourinho is perceived as boring is because the English tabloids decided he was. They wanted to create the story of the dull, functional, wealthy machine of Chelsea versus the attacking verve, expression, tradition and romance of the Rags, always hoping that the rags would win. As soon as Mourinho proved himself they absolutely loved him, he was 'charismatic' and 'charming' or 'eccentric', before then he was an arrogant upstart.

I would have him at City in a flash but it's never going to happen.

This is absolutely true. It's disappointing how many football fans have fallen for it.

Why is it never going to happen?

Rammy Blue- Serie A is a fucking SHIT league, and as my original post stated yes they win, but they are THE most boring side i have probably ever watched in my life (Not including the city team under Pearce of course !)

HGBlue- The biggest problem on here seems to be that Hughes approaches games negatively. Mourinho does EXACTLY the same FFS.

this is ridiculous, serie a has produced the most finalists in the champions league so its obviously shit
