Favourite away day pubs

Maybe not one for the nu-fan mob but I was discussing with a mate some of the shenanigans at certain towns/pubs on the way to and from away games and our favourite stop offs. The Sheffield games were usually the ladybower but the best was usually Stoke and port vale, I can't remember the pub names but getting served was a challenge so it was always a double round. I recall some good stop offs in and around York but fucked if I remember where we'd been!
The minibus from the little Astley in dukinfield was a happy bus...
Stopping in Leek was memorable for many Bridge Blues, as was Chesterfield

I'm sure I have a very old memory of stopping in Harlow old town after trips to North London grounds in the late 70's

The Marquis of Granby or something like that.

Back then I was always very very drunk.....

Newcastle and Norwich city centres. No individual pubs in particular, just the general areas.

Someone just posted that Heath game in the cult heroes thread.
I once pulled a girl who brought me back to one of those tower blocks when I lived in London for a bit. She wasn’t impressed that I kept going on about Michel Vonk scoring in the FA Cup
White City estate. I once saw two cops fighting each other there years ago. Their colleagues broke it up pretty fast.

I always like the pub at Fulham. Just as you come out of the tube station, always a good atmosphere no bother and a nice walk to the ground. For a few years it seemed we always played them in April time so always sunny.
The pub at Charlton was always a good time The Antigalican. I think it may be shut down now.
During a pre match warm up at Fulham a few years back there was a woman three rows in front of me that got hit straight in the face with a shot from Yaya and a couple of minutes later her hat and glasses flew off when another shot hit the side of her head. I'm glad she was in the way because they were coming right at me.
