Re: FC United fans online survey (p19)

Couldn't City offer FCUM a home at their new development 7k(?) seater stadium? Keep your friends close and your enemies closer still. All helps to divide the Rags fanbase, we'd hate them to drift back into the fold just coz' they've nowhere decent to play.

And give their scummy fans a chance to put their hideous graffiti all over our beautiful new mini stadium? No thanks.

Aside from that, I wouldn't want a real club with proper traditions and a great history like City, to be associated with a bunch of mard arse splitters, who deserted their team when it needed them most.

Maybe FCUM fans could by shares from that pleb of a rag running the Unite Against City campaign and build their ''community stadium'' on his land ;

Re: FC United fans online survey (p19)

Maybe we should be worrying about more pressing issues closer to home like ticket prices, ejections for persistent standing etc rather than generating 21 pages fretting about a non-league club playing in the evo stik league.?

And we call the Rags obsessed....

Please let me know where you live Fenny69. Then I can suggest a nice spot for the stadium to be built right opposite your house and of course you wont oppose it, will you?

This thread isn't ''fretting about a non league club'' but objecting to the site they have been given to build their stadium.

Read the thread title it might give you a clue to what the discussion is about !

-- Sun Feb 26, 2012 8:34 pm --

Commuinty work aka FCUM style :

This is an example of the kind of ''Community Work'' that FC United get involved in...... going into schools, teaching kids FC United songs and taking them to a game to sing them.....
This from their own website :-

FC United’s final home match of the season was graced by the presence of children from Ancoats, Beswick and Newton Heath who had participated in the Singing with FC United project.

The club worked with staff from the Manchester Music Service to go into schools and teach children the fans’ favourite songs.

The result was that on the day the children joined in enthusiastically with a number of songs including the classic, ‘He’s not from Gorton’, a song about FC’s leading goalscorer whom the children clapped eyes on for the first time that day.

The children also got a chance to sing their own versions of a number of songs for FCUM Radio.

Robin Pye, FC’s Community & Education Manager said, “The children got a lot more out of their match experience because they knew the words to the songs. We will be harnessing the power of music in future projects with this age group.”

Cant wait for my kid coming home singing FCUM songs ........ i think not.

Not a bad idea that im sure the land will be small enough to build a stadium that can fit their dwindling support :) In fact on their own forum there is a thread about why their support is falling ! its nice to see their mods have deleted comments where fans have said its because their not winning anything and playing s**t also there fed up with having a bucket thrust under there noses wanting money every time they turn a corner.
