That made me giggle.
I know it turned into a rag rant but I don't differentiate too much other than the turncunts being an even lower for form of ****; that said I have a special dislike for the Crown ****; a particular dispicable specimen.

You should never differentiate. **** covers all bases. They are a special kind of **** in the Crown though.

Subject: Legal obligations

Unless the Board releases all financial information that has been requested - many times continually requested - on the Members' forum at fc-utd.co.uk by Friday 1st April 2016, I will beinitiating legal proceedings in the County Court against both Adam Brown (as director of FC United Facilities Ltd) and Michael David Sherrard as Board convenor of FC United CBS for breach of Section 42 of the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014.

The net is rapidly closing in on you ladies and gentleman. It's time to start adhering to your legal obligations.

Regards,

John-Paul O'Neill

After the scandal of the Board ignoring £1500 of legal advice (yes, FIFTEEN HUNDRED in total) that suggested all the club should or could do in regard to "abuse" was "open a dialogue" with the owners of this forum, in favour of the club paying another NINE HUNDRED POUNDS to investigate the matter, it turns out that the Board has also ignored thousands of pounds of other advice on Andy Walsh's say-so.

In March 2014 the Board advertised for applications for the following work:

http://www.fc-utd.co.uk/m_story.php?story_id=5402

Quote:
iii. Operations Review: To review current Club structures and proposals, to be undertaken by a consultant;

The full details and job spec can be found at: http://www.fc-utd.co.uk/2013_uploads/Ops Review.pdf

Quote:
Project outline

To work with the club's General Manager [chief executive] and Board to:

- review current structure

The nature of this tender is clearly both extensive and expensive. It follows that the cost of undertaking such a review would mean that its conclusions are followed, else what is the point?

As we can see from another (ignored) post on the Members' forum, some club members have previously raised the matter of what happened to this review:

http://fc-utd.co.uk/members/forum/viewt ... ons#p29389

As is mentioned in this post, the Board acknowledged delivery of the final report and its recommendations in September 2014. From that month's minutes:

Quote:
The Board approved the report, subject to AKW[alsh] being asked to monitor and report back to the Board on the effects on any staff – which includes full time employees, part time employees, self-employed contractors and volunteers – of the changes which will be brought about by the implementation and recommendations in the report.

Only a month later AKW[alsh] went back to the Board with an "urgent" recommendation that Board employ a fundraiser - who it turned out would be Andy Walker after undergoing a sham and fraudulent appointment process. NOWHERE IN THIS REPORT DID IT RECOMMEND THAT THE CLUB EMPLOY ANY FUNDRAISER.

Within less than 6 weeks the expensively and extensively researched report by outside contractors that had been commissioned by the club was ripped up and ignored.

THIS REPORT COST MEMBERS OVER FOUR THOUSAND POUNDS.

Yet more professionally-solicited advice the Board has chosen to ignore in favour of doing what Andy Walsh wants.

On 6th November 2014 the Board informed members via the "board" log-in on the forum:

Quote:
On completion of the review we aim to publish as much information as is possible,
whilst obviously respecting confidential details relating to employees. A further update will be provided soon, as we are close to finalising this work.

No information relating to this has ever been released to members; no further update has ever been made.

THE REPORT HAS BEEN BURIED BECAUSE IT WOULD SHOW ANDY WALSH TO BE THE DICTATOR HE IS, AND HOW MUCH HE WASTES CLUB MONEY IN FAVOUR OF "JOBS FOR THE BOYS"

I'm no legal expert but what you describe must be close to corruption, and possibly fraud? There's a fine line between "cronyism" and "networking", though usually the distinction can be found by studying the organisations HR and business regulations. I'm guessing FC Utd of Manchester Ltd's recruitment regulations don't extend into this area?

It is claimed that the Board has been informed that a complaint of this nature may yet be made to GMP.

The sight of Walsh being carted off in handcuffs would truly be one to behold.

(Whilst he's being booked in at the station perhaps he could get round to logging all these "threats" he's previously overlooked telling plod about.)

If this is true and I have no reason to believe it not to be as no one from the board ever comments I'm totally go smacked and the more I learn the more it hurts me , the more pain at having to advocate FC as the Becon of fan ownership it's made out to be , also the less I want to wax lyrical a bout the club I love on national radio every week ....

Please make it stop and for the good of the club and democracy please people do the the right thing .

Over £4000 of members' money spent on this charade of a report and only 3 people give a toss about it enough to even comment.

Whither the 100 or so "stepper-uppers"? Shithouses like their Board representatives.

Your revelations, while shocking, are now so numerous they've lost all their shock value!

Ditto, it has come to the point where many mistakes are totting up. All my curse words about the entire situation would not add anything that is worthy of value (only action would do so).

This has gotten to a fraudulent fiduciary level. If I was that slimy piece of work, I'd be expecting a 5am knock on the door any day soon.

JP claiming on RI that he has a copy of the report (which will be released by him in due course) and that its true cost was close to £10,000 (TEN THOUSAND)

Good article by a good journalist

Someone mentioned David Conn earlier. I can't imagine he would have written an article like this as its not a copy and paste of every other article he's ever written

The club are probably now debating hiring someone to investigate the Guardian.

Email from Danny Taylor. Sounds like someone's been trying to bully him:

Quote:
had a good row with Andy Walker as well today

he was claiming it was inaccurate about John Manning - and asked for name of my editor

FACT: the Walsh-Brown-Walker cabal phoned David Conn and asked him to try and get Danny Taylor to pull his piece.

Taylor rightly told Conn-artist to fuck off.

That is fucking shocking from Conn if it's true. It sounds a bit far fetch that Conn would try to get a colleagues article pulled. I choose to believe it not because of any proof, but because I think Conn is a fucking arsehole.

I am a Conn fan, including his championing of FCUoM - yet struggling to defend his silence over the recent developments at the club. He posted a tweet saying he was at the home game last weekend - days after Andy Walsh's resignation, so I fail to believe he is oblivious to allegations / charges made against Walsh / the board / board members / employees of the club.

Conn is a turncoat, the same as FCUM fans but his silence over this is hypocritical to say the least. Especially after all the shit he wrote about us. No time for him at all.
