FC United thread

Just having a look at their league, there's no 'super team' in it this season but they're eighth in the betting behind Ashton in sixth.

Higher than I thought they'd be after last season but, fingers crossed for a relegation battle.
It will be the same nonsensical logic when we see the BBC pundits all claiming the rags will be in for a top 6 spot this coming season!

Looks like the mini rags are fed up of turning up & being fleeced out of £15 to watch a friendly, the attendance has been dropping and they’re yet to win a game

Bucketeers 0 - Bradford 1 (1688)
Bucketeers 2 - Salford 2 (785)
Bucketeers 0 - Rochdale 3 (1122)
Prestwich Heys 1 - Bucketeers 0
Bucketeers 1 - Exeter 4 (904)

So just over 900 turned up today, but they knew that there was over 200 travelling up from Exeter, so less than 700 rags turning out

And didn’t Bradford bring 1000 fans?

Why don't we decide which community group we want to win and throw our not so insignificant weight behind them?
That will easily wind up the pricks when they see what we are up to!

They gave their first team a run out at lowly Trafford tonight & managed to lose again, 3-2. Interestingly Trafford charged £5 to get in & only a third of the price of visiting the mini swamp
Yet, Trafford FC (a team I do go and watch a couple of times a season, so not impartial) manage to keep their ahead above water ?
Also, they pay their bills and debts.
How the feck do these Splitters manage to get so much positive publicity ?
Some journalist (obviously David Conn will jot do it) needs to expose these fantasists for all their con tricks and debt...
