February 24th is going to be a very very difficult day !

Yeah, you're right, I'm not a City fan!!

My point is that we don't need favours, we are more than capable of winning the league with 12 games to go.

In 2012, 8 points behind with five games to go, we needed favours - step forward Wigan, Everton and Mike Deans 4 added minutes on May 13th

In 2014, we needed favours, step forward Crystal Palace, Dwight Gayle and a slippery pitch for Stevie G.

I hate utd, you are correct and I'd love nothing more than Liverpool to lose every single match between now and the end of the season..... if utd beat them, of course I'll be elated, but as I said, utd can go get fooked.
Let me ask you mate, last game of the season and the rags need to beat Liverpool to hand us the title, Who would you support for that 90 mins?

That's a hypothetical question and irrelevant to this thread.

All I'm saying is that with 12 games to go, points to be won and lost, this season will not be defined by Liverpool vs utd.

Obviously I want Liverpool to lose.

The nucleus of this thread is City fans "cheering" for utd........I'll never cheer for them.

The fact utd could beat Liverpool, will be a great bonus and boost to our title hopes and of course I'll be happy - at the Liverpool defeat, as opposed to the utd victory.

Jeez!!

Of course it fucking matters. City could well win all 12 remaining and finish 3 points behind Liverpool.

that's what i fucking said, if we dont then that result doesn't matter

i'll be cheering on
bournemouth
watford
everton
burnley
fulham
spurs
southampton
chelsea
cardiff
huddersfield
newcastle
and wolves
in that order

It gives us an extra 3 points margin for error, nothing more nothing less.

Why anyone would be hoping for anything other than that extra 3 point gain, I don't know.

you misunderstand me

my preference of result is

a, utd win
b, draw
c, scouse win

i personally can't don't anything about the outcome of the game, but i can certainly take solace in a scouse win believe me

Neither, you can prefer one team to win, but you don't have to actively support them in doing it.

It's like these sad fucks on social media putting west ham badges on theor profile last monday, or leicester the week before

Get a fucking grip people, you support city, no one else but can be happy with any assistance in achieving your aims, no matter who from in this case.

Want the rags to win because it helps, as I do, but I won't cheer for them or cheer them on, not a chance

For one day only perhaps we could sing this...

Oh I never felt more like singing the Blues
City win United win
Oh City you got me singing the Blues ?

No ! Oh OK then.

Is exactly what I was alluding to!!
I don't want the rags to win, but in this case if they do, it's a good thing.
However, I DO want Watford, Huddersfield, Bournemouth, Everton, etc to win against Liverpool and I would cheer any of them on
