richard dunne was the first player that really kickstarted my city fan career- i was five and my dad had just bought me a new city top and we were on our way home when we saw him walking, so my dad stopped the car and i ran over to him, and started talking, asking the questions:) at the end, i said thankyou and he said, im sorry i have to go so quickly but my dog is missing, and i thought, Shit, i would be telling people to piss off and get out of the way if my dog was missing and yet he still stopped and talked, he is a genuinely great person, who deserves everything he gets, i hope he does well at villa and gets a huge testimonial from us too!

Good luck to him, he's been a good player at times but it's the right move for all concerned as he won't start as many games as he'd have wanted to if he stayed
