Feeling flat?

About the 115, what annoys me is, even IF we are guilty(which, realistically we're probably not) all we will have done is broken a ridiculous set of rules which were only invented to stop us in the first place. None of these rules were in place when United and Liverpool were dominating back in the day and that in itself is telling. People act like we're fixing games and bribing referees etc, the players have achieved remarkable things on the pitch, as a rival fan you don't have to like that, but those players and manager are the best around at what they do and if you can't acknowledge that, you're no football fan.

Also, United fans call us cheats, but if we are cheats then their new CEO will have been a big part of it. The fact that they can't see the hypocrisy in that absolutely staggers me.

Not flat at all just annoyed we let a team, not at our level, to beat us by two daft mistakes and a lot of players having a bad day, in a cup final and against that shower of shite of all teams.

Once I got home I was over it. It helps not rewatching any of the highlights and staying off sky and the like. The parade put it into perspective. We won the hardest league in the world with a team weakened from last year by departures and then injuries to key players. Thirty eight tough, tough games while playing deep into Europe and getting to the fa cup final. A monumental achievement. We made history too. Four in a row. By contrast the rags fluked six games to win a cup but failed to win a Mickey mouse European trophy and have just had their worse premiere league season in their history. Nothing to boast about and in contrast we have nothing to feel flat about.

It also helps I half expected the rags to beat us. Too much complacency amongst a large section of our fans and I think some of our players. Us old school City fans often get derided for our pessimism but we know as good a team as we are that doesn't mean a win is a given. We stay grounded always. Also the old saying, "A teams name is on the cup" has proven true more than once and this year it was the rags name. Shit happens.

I absolutely hate losing to them. And it's 10 times worse in a cup final. We should have annihilated them, I honestly thought 5-1 and the world audience would see how fucking crap they are.

Thats why I just can't seem to get over this feeling, I dislike the mindset of their twatish fans, they think they hammered us.

On top of that I'm fucking fuming at our players for not fucking showing up (except Doku of course).
After winning all those recent games why put in a performance like that on such a massive stage??

I'm seriously pissed off. Fucking Glum.
The only flaw in Peps tenure is his lack of hatred for the scum. Every opportunity to crush them should be relished in my view.

Their behaviour at winning that game since is a timely reminder that the self entitled, gloating, strutting wankers are still out there waiting. They haven't gone away, just been hiding since their last few years of humiliation. They are and will always remain.....scum!

Feeling great after we beat your lot on Saturday, but feel like utter Rafael Scheidt considering the news regarding that scumwad Ratcliffe.

Hate him, the Glazers and Curly Watts.

Don't think you blues should feel down for too long. Losing to us must have hurt but you will sadly be back amongst trophies before we are.

Good to see you downed by Stockport's finest. As an Irish Man United fan who lives in Bramhall, I have no idea why that warms my heavy heart.

So, take it easy, Blues and see you next season for
more ahits and giggles
What news regarding Ratcliffe?

It's all about the last game and how that leaves you feeling.
Two years ago we had the heartache of the disastrous exit in the CL SF to Madrid coming close on the heels of losing to the dippers in the FA Cup SF. But then we won the title in the most dramatic circumstances possible against Villa so everyone ends the season in the throes of ecstasy. This time round we make history with the four in a row but the last (bitter) taste in the mouth is losing the cup final.
It's human nature to dwell on what happened last but the bigger picture is much more important.

Still buzzing from Istanbul to be frank.
This season end I’m over the rag defeat now but not over the Real Madrid exit.We should have won that cup more than the once.
No one will remember who won the FA cup in 2024 aside from it was the game that gave Ten Hag a lifeline that was universally regretted by the October by all around the world in scum land.
All will however remember the four back to back titles it was a fine achievement and now we are all down as we aren’t getting the weekly fix be that on TV or travelling when we really have something to play for.
Most clubs don’t have anything to play for.We did when we were rubbish as we were up then down and my goodness we do now and how blessed are we now but most teams dont.Imagine how they feel now.Knowing that probably next season will be the same as the last.
So we need a weekend footy fix but its not the Euros.Yes I want England to do well but far more importantly I want our boys to end it healthy so they can line up for us in August fit and ready.
If i go to a casino I play number 5 after Keith Curle. We can do this.

It's certainly more deflating than I thought it would be, being the best team in the World.
The cycle of incredible highs and the inevitable, malicious, jealous attacks, takes a toll.
Just take a break. I manage year round as well by only really coming on here for City news. Do not watch Sky Sports News, buy any of the publications which attack us, which is nearly them all, certainly don't listen to talkshite and don't engage with uninformed pricks supporting other clubs. The BBC of course needs to be consumed in very small doses too. I know this is not an easy strategy for many but I can assure you it works.
