I have a Les Paul, very nice but always pick up my Strat.I favour Gibson guitars but I love my Strat to.
Buy yourself a nice twelve string acoustic and you'll be happy - whatever you play no matter how simple or complex it will sound great..........It's funny but I am looking into an acoustic guitar now to learn to play during confinement as well. Still early days but need to learn more before even investing in something second hand and committing to learning. I have a musical background (piano & sax) but been years
