Fender guitars.

I have a Les Paul, very nice but always pick up my Strat.
Just feels better.
Got a big Epiphone (like Weller used to play), I love it but would like to scale it back a little (hence potentially getting proper Telecaster).

Maybe I would get one like Keith Richards (strokes chin), I may have bought one by the end of the day.......... ;-)

who's the best youtuber for lessons on guitar,i'm trying to learn but don't seem to be getting anywhere

Apparently Fender have had their best sales ever this year.
Lockdown is great for guitar sales.

Leo designed his guitars in the 50s and they've never been improved upon.

How many products can you say that about ?
Don't think fenders haven't been improved upon. You can throw a lot of money at a luthier to custom build something better in nearly every measurable way. Even a lot of cheap copies are as good. Fender themselves licence Japanese and Mexican built versions that some people prefer. What fender did do was dominate the market with good if not spectacular product that recording engineers understand because they are part of the sound of pop music from 1950 to now.

I have an 80's Squire HM Strat. It's a lovely sounding guitar.

Had a Strat for a few years. Liked it, but never loved it. Prefer the Telecaster.

Have a Jaguar at the moment but overall I prefer my Les Paul

Another Fender fan. Got a telecaster and it's a Rolls Royce of a guitar (for me anyway). So easy to play and knocks my Gibson SG out of the park. Like others have said even the Fender copies are really good.

As a kid I hated Fender guitars as they reminded me of Hank Marvin who - at the time - I thought was a terrible guitarist. Nowadays I love Fender and is there a better guitar sound than on Wonderful Land? It's such a pure, clean sound you only get with a Fender.

It's a great point about things that can't be improved.... I can't think of any!
